I had an interview and it went great. Good luck with yours. Where else did you apply?

Got the big envelope today. Not sure if I'll be attending yet, this was my first acceptance.

Applied 1/27
Accepted 2/9

So. Anyone know of any fairly priced, decent places to live there?

Go to craigslist.com for minneapolis...then click under Ramsey County. Type in "summit ave." and you will find a ton of listings right near the school...or type in "william mitchell." That's pretty much how I have been going about my search.

Any advice from those going to WM?

I was accepted to WM with a thirty percent scholarship but Hamline with a seventy-five. I like WM so much better but that's a pretty chunk of debt between the schools. Not sure which I should pick. Clearly not everything is money based, but it certainly makes the decision a little more muddled.

Opinions?

U of M or Mitchell are the only way to go in the Twin Cities, especially now that the market is over saturated. I lived in the neighborhood where Mitchell is located for years, so anyone can feel free to PM me with questions about the area, housing, etc.

Just curious... how many of you are turning Mitchell down for another school (or already have)?

So I checked my application status for WM today and it says: decision letter sent (3/15/10).

However, under Tuition Deposit, it says .00 for Amt due and Amt paid.

Does this mean I didn't get in? Wouldn't it had listed the tuition deposit amount if I was admitted? Has anyone seen this? Could I be waitlisted, perhaps?

Please help. I'm sorry for the questions...I'm very nervous.

I'm seeing the exact same thing...decision sent but .00 for amt due and paid. What does your Mailings section say? I have a "Intent to Enrol Form Due April 26" that was supposedly mailed on the same date as my decision letter, so I'm guessing and hoping that I'm accepted...otherwise I wouldn't get an intent to enroll form right? What are your stats by the way? I'm 159/3.4...

Interesting thing with mine is that supposedly the decision letter was sent on 3/8 and I still have not gotten it...I thought it would take less than a week. Can anyone offer insight on the time between letter sent and actual receive?

So mine had .00 for tuition deposit too...but as it turned out, it was because I got 100% scholarship! I bet that's what it means for you too...congrats!

Accepted today with no mention of a scholarship -- frankly I'm a little surprised with a 161/3.64. Will call tomorrow to find out what happened. Anyone receive scholarship info in a separate letter or have a similar experience to this?

Wow that is surprising with your numbers...maybe they're just out of money now...? My scholarship came with the acceptance letter...

Called today -- turns out they only have a limited # of scholarships for my LSAT/GPA profile... unfortunately I just applied a little too late. Will wait and hope they open up some more money in the near future!
