Just got mine.
Not surprised either way, but I guess that's dependent on what I was expecting.
In short: sucks that my parents aren't helping.

+1. Kretzy's post gave me a glimmer of hope, but lots o' loans it is.
P.S. For those creating a SUN ID today, it only took about an hour between when I requested it and when I could log in, even though it says to wait a day.

Didn't mean to give false hope
Good luck to the other folks still waiting, sorry to those who didn't get as much as they would've liked.

how much would you estimate you could get for selling everything you own? We need some perspective on the amount of stuff you own, so that we can get perspective.

I would couchsurf for a semester to go to Stanford. I don't think I'd go much further than that though. Maybe a pinky or two.

I'm thinking around 30K...but wait, there's more. I would also secretly put my parents house up for auction. And all of their cars. And I would start a highly profitable drug cartel. We're talking millions here.

In any case, I expect it to blow HLS out of the water.

But then you would be discredited from taking the bar, making SLS an all-but-moot point. The degree still looks pretty, though.

I'm honestly in shock. I expected to get nothing. PM for details, but needless to say, I'll most likely be sending my deposit today.
I'm shaking with excitement. Oh. My. God.
What about Yale?

I've fallen madly in love with SLS, and my visit there is all but a formality now. With financial aid now factored in, I don't see myself anywhere else.

Are you actually gonna send your deposit? I sort of want to - if only because it means my ID card (which I still have) will begin to work on campus again, which means I can play the golf course for $25 all summer.

It's very attractive, yes. Plus, you get to play on the same course as Tiger Woods.

Haha, it does to me. I can see why it wouldn't to some people, though.

Hahaha wait what? Why the superfluous "I hate Stanford" comment?
And yes, the course is awesome.

did you see his interview on ESPN? Just brutally non-informative. Did he really tell us anything we didn't know? I thought the interviewer did a good job of asking as much as possible in 5 minutes, but tiger woods was closed tighter than a camel's ass in a sand storm.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
