So tempted to try to start a bidding war between Carrie from CharlotteLaw and Candy from Phoenix, but I shall refrain.

Re: Candy Kallen
I got offered 25, she must like me the best But I actually e-mailed her a while ago letting her know where I was going and that they offered more than her original 25k offer so props to her for remembering/negotiating.
Seriously though when I saw the e-mail subject I thought something was up with my scholly at my school and freaked out, and then realized it was just my old friend Candy.

I'm guessing it's the finals before the quarter finals. And I have no idea how to answer the second one.holydonkey wrote:What the hell are octa-finals??? Also, why is Georgetown competing at a Moot Court Competition at Seton Hall???
I'm staying a subscriber for a good laugh. That said, I wouldn't have thought of Minnesota at first until they emailed me, so solicitations do have value.

I'm jealous to hear that some of you are being offered 25K; I was only offered 18.

Worked for me. Unsubscribed months ago and had to learn about Phoenix's accomplishments from TLS. Candy obviously isn't dedicated enough to find other methods of communication.sixburgher wrote:Man, I just found Candy's latest treat in the spam folder. I tried out the 'unsubscribe' at the bottom. Now I'll see how that affects our relationship
A month or so ago I was sitting behind a couple of guys in the computer lab, one I knew from a seminar and I guess a friend of his. They were talking about Phoenix seriously. I didn't quite know what to say.

She only offered me 10,000 .... which is 5,000 less then I'm getting at W&LFast_Fingers wrote:Another message!
Note: This is already what I'm getting at Minnesota, and less than what U of Arizona offered me. So I may have to think about it...Hi (Fast_Fingers),
I sent you several emails over the last few months. I am writing this time to tell you that our scholarship budget has changed and based on your LSAT and GPA scores you may now qualify for a Merit scholarship of $20,000 per year for our full-time program. I also want to remind you that we are still taking applications for Fall 2010. I waived your application fee.
On another note, PhoenixLaw students recently competed in the John J. Gibbons Moot Court Competition hosted by Seton Hall. PhoenixLaw won Best Petitioner's Brief with Georgetown winning Best Respondent's Brief. Our students also made it to the octa-finals. Would you like more information about out Moot Court Program? Reply to this email and I will send it to you.
Regards,
Candy

I felt bad, so last time I emailed her back politely saying that I had a full ride to a much better school (which is true) and then she upped my offer by $3k. I guess she didn't take the hint.

Too bad T2's probably have too much pride for this. I think a lot of people would enjoy/succumb to the attention.

When I told my sister I was excited that UChi had a sweet Phoenix mascot, she pointed out the Phoenix school of law. The association made me sad.

I just got this from Drexel, it's probably the 5th one
Dear [Jmhendri],
We'd like to give you an excellent reason to apply to Drexel Law - generous merit scholarships. Based on a review of your LSAT exam results, as well as your cumulative undergraduate grades and other experiences, we believe you have demonstrated aptitude for law school success and are a candidate for a substantial scholarship to attend Drexel Law.
Last year, over 90% of students admitted to Drexel Law last year with your LSAT scores and G.P.A. received a scholarship offer from us. Of that group, the median scholarship offer was $25,000 per year for three years. Best of all, there is no application fee to apply to Drexel, just submit your application and we will automatically consider you for a merit scholarship.
We hope you take the time to learn more about Drexel's innovative cooperative education program and other unique programs and offerings by visiting us at http://www.earlemacklaw.drexel.edu . And if you have any questions , just call us at 215.895-1529 or e-mail us at lawadmissions@drexel.edu .
Looking forward to hearing from you!
