That actually is entirely what I was driving at through the entire discussion. There is too much missing information. The question is "Why?" The assumption is it's missing because it's negative.

Don't make this personal man. Also, sorry about the dudefail quote, it was honestly unintentional.

Edit: many schools don't force us to make assumptions, because the data is plainly on the table. Nice highlighting work on my previous post, every time I used the word "think" it was intentional, so I'm really not sure what you're getting at.

It'll drop a spot or two.

No fact-based reason for my thinking that; however, my seat deposit got processed last week, so I fully expect to be punished for finally committing. My apologies to everyone for causing the drop.

Anyone going to ASD on Saturday?

Anyone who went last time have any comments or recommendations to share?

Still deciding between Mason and American (going PT).

I've got a ton of quotes to share regarding that dirty Eagle picture you have, but the only recommendation I have is that Chunky McSoup should stop playing football instead of joining the Skins. I am impressed that somehow the two teams arranged a trade that made none of the fans of the NFC east happy.

I'm going Saturday ... I have never been before. I would also be interested if anyone has suggestions to check out while visiting.

I would instead check out the nightlife in Clarendon and Ballston. Unless you are LGBT, Dupont may not have as much for you. Farragut though is close to Dupont and may have more for you. The U-Street area and Adams Morgan have nightlife, but can be sketchy.

Does anyone know how GMU notifies you of a scholarship? Is it included in the first folder of information you receive? Or does it come later?

It comes by snail mail, not with the admission package, at least for me. My admission package came pretty early, early January.

I think I'm fixing to withdraw tomorrow. I didn't get any scholarship money. Can anyone justify spending sticker at GMU? Seriously. I just don't know how I can take out nearly 200K

If you didn't hear anything you might get word after seat deposits are due. This depends upon what others decide to do. So yeah, not looking good.

darn, was afraid of that, makes my decision a whole lot harder if I can't get any aid at all from GMU. Thanks for the response.

I'm feeling the same way. I like the location and love the fact that they have lots of national security law courses, but gawd, it's gonna cost 55k/year to attend and I simply can't afford that.

I love the national security program and the econ/law emphasis. But it's not even a strong regional. There's two better DC schools and third that's pretty close... In addition, there's 3 better VA schools. Also, I hate the location. But location excluded, it just doesn't feel worth it at sticker.

Nice work, like others have said though it is very specific to you, I'm not sure how many people would only consider firms in NY/NJ/SEA/DC but its a good method for people wanting to do their own research.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
