Dibs.
sorry, L&C does not recognize the validity of 'Dibs' on a message board.

I had to call and yell "Dibs" when someone answered the phone.

I got a big packet in the mail from Lewis and Clark and I got really excited. I opened it up and it was a generic information mailing they send out to all applicants. Faked out again!!!

I'm not sure yet. I'm still waiting to hear from a few other schools, and whether Iowa will award me any $$. I think I need a new experience after having done UG at LC. Also, I figure I'll take money at a peer school over none at LC, or a better school without any $.

Good luck to all. If anyone has Portland questions, PM and I'd love to share my opinions.

So are we thinking there is connection with acceptance and being able to log into the admitted students site?

I'm beginning to think there is. I never tried to get in until my complete status date changed for the second time... but then I tried it and I could get in.... and 4 days later my acceptance showed up in the mail.

Not conclusive at all, but seems to be in line with everyone else's experiences who have posted here.

The real telling thing would be if someone who does not yet have a decision tries to get in, can't, then has a status change and CAN get in.

Guinea pigs?

I cannot access the site and have not yet received a decision. My complete date was 2/9, although that date is very misleading (see my previous post from last week).

Acceptance in mail today. I was one of the 2/5ers who was able to access the admitted students page last week.

I'm going to hang on for a bit to see if they'll give me any scholarship money in the coming months.

This is mine plan as well. Scholarship funds will weigh heavily on this decision.

Yes, a direct connection.

Since I am not one of those lucky few who can access the site yet, can someone tell me when the admitted students day is? I'm visiting relatives in Portland next month and I'm hoping I can line up the dates. Thx.

Reception on the evening of March 18th, ASD itself is on the 19th.
