Mrs. Trucker: I did have my own concerns with that comment, but only because of the word usage...."pet" her? I understand though, managamy....just...yeah.MrsTrucker: I may be a woman, but even I know that ANY man would want to pet that avatar! LOL
and jackalope.....it's cool to throw punches in bunches with the posts....forgot to add that. And is Managamy SERIOUSLY going to hit the trifecta and get into all three of HYS???? wow. Good luck!Philaw wrote:Mrs. Trucker: I did have my own concerns with that comment, but only because of the word usage...."pet" her? In other news, that is an awesome picture of Tupper Ware, I'm almost finished with one of my painstaking finals, still no word from anybody, TruckerD is a humble genius and I had no idea, Mrs. Trucker is like the sweetest lady ever, and people are getting more optimistic by the day. If I had a Budweiser in my hand, I'd say life would be juuust abooout right.
I appreciate the positive vibes, but you're dangerously close to tempting fate. It's true that people shouldn't be superstitious in the modern world, but...Philaw wrote:

MrsTrucker: I don't know, I think the modern world has plenty of superstitions still in it. It's silly, and sometimes fun, but still here even though we say we don't believe it.managamy wrote:I appreciate the positive vibes, but you're dangerously close to tempting fate. I happen to know a lot of athletes, and they're all superstitious. It's probably contagious, and I have contracted it from them.TruckerD wrote:MrsTrucker: I don't know, I think the modern world has plenty of superstitions still in it. Yeah, true. I "be hispanics," too. lol. However, in all fairness, a lot of my family are Texicans, and were in Texas before Texas was Texas, or right on the border across into Mexico. I know about the superstitions. Matter of fact, I've been wearing the same pair of socks since I applied to my first school in the beginning of October.... Naw, Just playin', but managamy....break a leg?jaskat wrote:I happen to know/be hispanics, and THEY are superstitious.
I'd be happy to break both legs if necessary to get it done.Philaw wrote:Yeah, true. I "be hispanics," too. lol. lol I didn't know how to make that one work for both. You get the idea though.Philaw wrote:Yeah, true. I "be hispanics," too. lol. lol, yeah, I get it. It's not as awkward as in the thread "accepted ED. Do I need to withdraw other applications," or something like that, where one guy said, "Dude, don't be a dick. Pull out."jaskat wrote:lol I didn't know how to make that one work for both. You get the idea though.Philaw wrote:Yeah, true. I "be hispanics," too. lol. I know that the comment was coarse, but I couldn't help cracking up despite myself.jaskat wrote:LOL, I read that one. I was surprised there wasn't more comment and sexual innuendo done.
Congratulations, Veritas! I read your TLS....Where are you looking at going if everything else goes your way? BU and W&L are two great ones.Veritas wrote: I'm loving this cycle.
Last year I was on my way to a TTT, not anymore!!!
Time for me to be a joiner <3
if EVERYTHING goes my way I'll be off to AA in MayPhilaw wrote:Congratulations, Veritas! I read your TLS....Where are you looking at going if everything else goes your way? BU and W&L are two great ones.Veritas wrote: I'm loving this cycle.

I'm hoping that your letters to Dean Tom will fall on responsive ears.Veritas wrote:if EVERYTHING goes my way I'll be off to AA in MayPhilaw wrote:Congratulations, Veritas! But, realistically, I'm really hoping for USC
haha, right now they are seeming quite deaf, but fingers crossed for that possibility.managamy wrote:I'm hoping that your letters to Dean Tom will fall on responsive ears.Veritas wrote:if EVERYTHING goes my way I'll be off to AA in MayPhilaw wrote:Congratulations, Veritas! If veritas were an MLB pitcher, his win-loss record would make him a Cy Young candidate.jaskat wrote:I just took a peek at your LSN profile, and it looks like so far it's going in the direction you want it to. Congratulations!
thanks <3 I am really happy with my options, sometimes I forget how grateful I need to be.jaskat wrote:I just took a peek at your LSN profile, and it looks like so far it's going in the direction you want it to. Congratulations!
but it would be like I was playing against Triple AAA teams for some of the winsmanagamy wrote:If veritas were an MLB pitcher, his win-loss record would make him a Cy Young candidate.jaskat wrote:I just took a peek at your LSN profile, and it looks like so far it's going in the direction you want it to. But hey, you could be like me and still be CONSTANTLY warming up in the bullpen behind Veritas, lol. I think I should have played right field.Veritas wrote:but it would be like I was playing against Triple AAA teams for some of the winsmanagamy wrote:If veritas were an MLB pitcher, his win-loss record would make him a Cy Young candidate.jaskat wrote:I just took a peek at your LSN profile, and it looks like so far it's going in the direction you want it to.
