Re: Maryland 2010
What is the chance for a 162/2.95 UMCP UGPA for part time? I am still in my master degree with 3.3 GPA at UMCP now. Thanks.

Re: Maryland 2010
Current Maryland 1L here, just finishing up first round of exams.
I am not on TLS as often anymore due to the rigors of law school. But, I am fairly well-known and well-respected by the TLS veterans. If anyone considering Maryland has any questions about the school, the area and neighborhood, certain programs, or anything law school related that I can help out with, feel free to send me a message directly. While I cant check the board often, I will reply to PMs.
Best of luck.

In...by facebook request. I went DR last week but haven't gotten a letter. Then today I get an e-mail inviting me to join their Admitted Student Facebook Group.

It's the dawning of a new age...pretty soon you're going to see people getting accepted by text.

Anyone else's status checker change to "under review" on the 11th?? I'm thinking another wave of decisions before the review board breaks for the holidays.

That is very strange. A couple weeks ago, I had a dream I was accepted at UMD via facebook.blhoward2 wrote:In...by facebook request. I went DR last week but haven't gotten a letter. Then today I get an e-mail inviting me to join their Admitted Student Facebook Group.

I'm sure that must have been an oversight. I definately got a letter before I got the facebook invitation. They even listed the facebook invite in my status checker mailings - did they list a letter or anything for you in your mailings?blhoward2 wrote:In...by facebook request. I didn't get anything either. All I remember seeing about scholarships was basically a sentence saying that all applications will be considered for scholarships. I think this was in the admissions packet that came.eakelley wrote:I'm wondering about this too...sunnygirl wrote:Does anyone get anything about the scholarship? Yep, maybe the admission office will contact us as stated in the package. I hope I will get some money for my law school years~ajk wrote:Got my acceptance letter last week. It looks like hardly anyone got scholarship money on LSN last year. I find it hard to believe they don't give any merit scholarships. What's the deal?
I really would love to go to Maryland, but can't without some help!

do we think that they send out acceptances in batches? my status went to decision made on 12/17 as well but my lsat is below their 25% (158, 3.76). I'm hoping my softs got me an acceptance along with the rest of the 12/17-ers

I got decision made on 12/7 as well. From what I've seen so far, everyone that got a decision made on that day seems to have some pretty strong numbers. I am in Boston and was expecting it monday but the big storm that hit here on the northeast may slow it down.
Good luck to ya.
