I hope you're in an office with a lot of people so one of those times it catches you so off guard in a positive way that you jump out of your chair with both arms in the air. And then, you realize everyone is watching... slowly return to your seat. Look around first, then go for a mini dance in your chair. Mini-tribal.

I tried, and failed...

im sorry this has probably been asked before.... but i raised issue with Rutgers today about the inaccuracy of the status checker after the woman who answered the phone insisted that if it says "file complete" no decision has been made yet. She looked up my file and told me "it was released from review today and I should have a decision by the weekend..." do they only do snail mail? or should i get my hopes up for an email with an admit? thanks y'all

That's it? haha I am not waiting on anything and I refresh about every 15 minutes...could just be boredom? When I was waiting it was every 5-10 on my phone! Yeah I have nothing better to do with my time.

edit: yes I am waiting...on emails from people wanting to buy my car!

Ok. I would imagine that after today's deposits they will tally up their numbers and a number of acceptances and waitlists will be sent out sometime next week. I wish they just grew the balls to let people know once and for all. this is insane!. Next week I need to know either accept or reject. none of this waitlist bull. I think its about time for everyone whose been waiting.

How long did it take for you guys to get your financial aid award letter? I was accepted March 16th and nothing yet.

p.s. Good luck to everyone waiting! It's SUCH a brutal waiting period. I had my gmail open on my third screen at work and pressed refresh ALL the time. When it FINALLY came in-my boss was right there-so it was pretty anti-climatic bc i was more afraid he would see it. lol

If you're waaaay out there... train from dover is tcr. It will take you forever on 10 between the lights and the fact that you have to go to 280 no matter what. But seriously you shouldn't live that far out in moco unless you have to live @ home to save $.

40 minutes in car, 43 minutes + 15 minutes in car from morristown, hour 15 minutes + 10 minutes in car from dover, if my father can commute every day to new york city from my house for 35 years, i can commute to newark, its built into the lifestyle.

Any1 know what are the stipulations on scholarships? Mine requires that I maintain a 3.0 but I have these other questions:

1. If I drop below a 3.0 cumulative at any point, do I lose the entire scholarship or is it lost on a graded scale?

2. Suppose I were to dip below a 3.0 and then raise my cumulative in subsequent years, would I get back my scholarship?

3. Do most students retain their merit scholarships?

unlike camden, which started a 3.5 and then was reduced at 3.33, i think you lose it completely if you go below 3.0 (counted at the end of each year)

if you lose it your first year, but go above your 2L year, i do not believe you get it back for 3L.

in the literature it says that 80-90% of scholarship recipients retain them for all 3 years.

really say you get a 3.33 your first year, that means youd have to get a 2.66 your second year to lose it your second year so that makes sense, once you figure out how to do well youre not going to stop doing what youre doing.
