Status just changed to "Decision has been made." Does an email usually follow?

Pretty sure decision made = ding based on other people's experiences. Status checker has a mention (at the top?) of acceptance if you got in.

Strange, especially seeing people with lower numbers, lesser softs, etc., gain acceptance...

No, no. I saw you applied in October (which is early considering most people). Saw some people with less GPA and LSAT and applied later get in. Crazy.
