have you written a LOCI?akeller2891 wrote:I must admit that I am going slightly crazy waiting to get off of the wait list. I want Villanova so badly, even if they don't give me any money. I love their programs. I wish they would just give me the green light and I'm there.

My stats are not the greatest with a 157 and a 3.55 and I have written 2 LOCI. The thing is I think my age is hurting my chances. I've talked to some schools and they dont like that I am so young.

Did you end up accepting?

Did you call often? A part of me wants to keep calling the office so they know I am still interested, but I also don't want to annoy them. I sent updated info and additional letters, and I've called and visited once. What else can I do to help my chances? I don't want to hold out too much longer on finding an apartment at my backup school.

Other than saying you'll 100% attend if accepted, you can't really do much else. Letting them know its worthwhile to let you in off the waitlist should help, as opposed not saying that and them possibly rejecting you because they don't know if you'll enroll.kelleyR320 wrote:Did you call often? Mine too, but I am only waiting a few more days. I have to sign a lease at my backup by the 1st if I want a place to live. This stinks.

Re: Villanova 2010
They just sent an email saying I am still on the waitlist... orientation for my backup starts in 5 days so I can't say that I am expecting anything at this point. Anyone else hear any good news recently?
