First acceptance of the cycle. Not my top choice but for other Texans who applied to Baylor start checking your status.

I sent it in 11/18...went complete a couple days later. A week turnaround basically. 164/3.75. I found out thru the status checker. Scholarship info came in the mail.

Did you apply to UT? if you're URM you have a better chance than I do at getting in.

haven't applied yet. :-\ have everything complete but one rec letter. i'm debating sending in my app ASAP with the 3 letters i already have, or waiting for an additional letter from my local texas exes chapter past president (in place of one of my 3 letters). i went to ut for ug and i'm highly involved in the local chapter. ahhh!!

Got a call from a 2L named John. He was very kind, honest and helpful. He stayed on the phone for 40 minutes and answered all of my questions I had about the school. Good work Baylor.

Did you guys get a letter in the mail with a fee waiver inviting you to apply as part of the "Preferred Applicant Program?" I'm curious as to how common this is. I ask because I just sent in my application yesterday, and I'm wondering how long it will be until I hear back. It says here that my "application will be processed before other applications," but if we're all "preferred applicants," then that doesn't really mean much!

Nice, that wasn't long at all. I'm just hoping I didn't submit too late for a decent scholarship offer.

We have the same stats and I got the full ride offer, so you should too. I think Baylor is desperate to raise up their rankings so anyone who is above their 75% should be getting about that much money.

Got a letter in the mail. Dean's Academic Excellence (something or other) Half-Tuition Scholarship. Worth a total of $58k+ right now (3 years), but if tuition raises, it states it will raise as well.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
