Decision made on 12/29. Still no letter, but I'm over 1500 miles away, so I wasn't holding my breath.

I contacted the admissions office asking if they could send my decision letter mailed to my permanent address since I am on break, and they told me I was accepted via e-mail. :-). Letter should be arriving shortly (I am in Chicago area).

Woot!

I have had a decision made since December 23 however after not receiving anything in the mail yet, I emailed the admissions office and they said that December 23 decisions were mailed out yesterday on January 4. Good thing I asked, too bad I was constantly checking my mailbox wondering where my decision was.

Best of luck to everyone!

I'm in the part-time day program. I got the packet like December 15th-ish. If I go, I'll try to transfer into the full-time program and still graduate in 3 years.

"Decision Made" today. According to LSN some of the first dings last year in the 08-09 cycle happened right after the New Year so I'm a little bit anxious.

+1

Not really that anxious though as I am a little below the 25% for GPA and LSAT... oh well.

Anyone know if Loyola is typically more generous than DePaul? I received 20k per year at DePaul and was admitted to Loyola, just trying to speculate on what kind of offer I might get in March...
Anybody care to share their personal rankings from 1 to 3 of Loyola, DePaul and Kent?

I wonder if this is because they don't want to sour people's holidays with rejections.

haha! oberlin08. the admissions response did say that the delay was due to the holidays so that could be true! how nice of them, right?

I am hoping that it is not a rejection but if it is, I would not have minded them souring my holiday at least then I would have had vacation time, family and booze to help cope with the rejection.

You called them and they told you you got an E-Mail but you didnt get the E-Mail?

Also, are they accepting via E-Mail and rejecting via Snail mail?

I don't think so. I was accepted via snail mail and heard nothing by email.

I think what he is saying is that he emailed them about getting it mailed to perma address, and rather than mess with that, the addmission rep just said basically 'you're in, dont worry. the letter will be waiting for you at the other address after the break" so they didnt have to mess with changing the mailing. Could be wrong, though...

I got in a few weeks ago w/ a 3.25 / 162. Anyone know how much loyola typically offers for scholarships relative to other schools in the same category? A substantial offer could certainly tempt me.

I'm curious to know what scholarship you withdrew today, as I was under the impression that scholars wouldn't be notified until March. Thanks!

Ha - sorry, the scholarship I withdrew was from DePaul. Sorry!
