Hey, could you possibly either post or PM stats and your UG school? As a fellow New Yorker, I'd like to see what kind of person they're taking from this side of the country.

emailed. got the response today

Dear XXXXXX
In the email you received telling you that your application file was complete, it included the information on how to check the status of your application online. Your file was completed on xxxxxx. Please review that email and follow the steps to check the status of your application. The email also stated that files completed by January 15, which yours was, will receive an answer by February 15. The committee has started reading files, but has suspended reading for the holidays, and will resume after the first of the year.

Online message boards are nice, but not always accurate in the information they provide. As we do not participate in a message board, information about Loyola University Chicago is being submitted by non-admission personnel.

We ask for your patience as we have had a 35% increase in applications and are trying to process everything as quickly as possible.

I never got a status checker for Loyola. I thought there wasn't one. Can anyone provide a link for me? I imagine I'll have to dig through email for my temporary password...

The acceptance said not to expect scholarship info for a couple months, but does anyone know when they started sending stuff out last year?

Me too...been complete since mid-October. Not a fan of the 10-14 day wait.

Don't worry; it shouldn't take 10-14 days. I got mine three days after "decision made." I'm in Ann Arbor, MI for what it's worth. Hope you guys get good news!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
