I have been "Ready for Reivew" since 1/28 and have not supplemented my application in any way. This is literally killing me. A little bit more of me dies each day.

Some people have been in review since 2/05 or so. Some people were in review or 4-5 days. Hard to tell. As said a few posts before, they said they'd tried to make most/all decision by April 1st (hopefully no tricks will be played).

In Review - 3/13/2010

I'm not even sure what the point of checking the status 250 times a day has been. In Review is really the same for me as Ready for Review. I'm still nervous as hell and have no closure.

Finally went in review. Does anyone know if they are actually averaging LSAT scores this cycle? If so, I'm definitely out.

I spoke to the dean in early January via phone. She told me that yes, they are in fact still averaging. That being said, I've heard if the difference is great between scores, they will perhaps only use the higher.

Is the picture that LSN paints of scholarship at UW accurate? It looks like they seriously give out 120k in scholly each year, and that's it. That can't be right.

Well UW is already extremely cheap for the high-class school that it is: Roughly 20 grand a year. That's roughly a 60k debt in the end, compared to the typical six-figure debt for most law schools. The way I see it, a school can only do two things: 1) Be real cheap but give out little to no scholarships, or 2) Be real expensive, but give out free rides and substantial scholarships.

It's not roughly twenty -- it's 32 out of state, plus COL. Easily six figures. I get what you're saying, and it is relatively cheap, but it's not cheap. Even a small scholly would make a big difference.

While UW is absolutely cheap, many more expensive schools offer scholarships that make tuition less. It's hard to pass those offers up without feeling like a bit of a chump for paying sticker at UW.
