look at "Student Schedule by Day and Time." Your section and schedule should be up.lml09 wrote:Where on win do we look? I'm not seeing anything

I must be totally clueless. I don't see anything about student schedules. I'm on the WIN page that has the "personal" "info central" "today" and "virtual campus" links.

Any clue how often sections change? Are they generally pretty set or should we not read anything into it yet?whenpigsfly wrote:I was just reworking my schedule for the fall and noticed a lot of the 1L classes were filled, but didn't want to say anything for fear of setting off a firestorm. At this point, it seems that they've only assigned students to 3 of the 4 sections so far, so 1) don't fret if you don't have a schedule yet, and 2) keep in mind that your current section may get switched at this point.lml09 wrote:LadyTarHeelian wrote:SCHEDULES!!!! For people in section 1B, it looks like our Habitat for Humanity project is on Thursday....does anyone know when & where to get the info on the logistics??
Also, how many summer reading assignments do have at this point?? Is it 2? or 3?
Looking forward to meeting you all in orientation next week!

I'm in 4A.
I think it's just the reading assignment for LRW, and the John Grisham book. I'm guessing we'll find out our initial assignments for our other classes during orientation.

I'm sure we'll find out during orientation. But I'm guessing they'll use the same buses to take us all to the location that they used for House Hunt (which I believe are the ones they use to go from the Crowne's to campus).Mich_Guy wrote:

Long time lurker, first time poster.
3B here, and quite content with the schedule as well. Does everyone else finish by 1100 on Friday, too?

Don't know if any of you were planning on doing some serious shopping coming up. NC has its annual no tax shopping this weekend. Supposed to be for clothes, school supplies, computers, but most stores let u buy whatever.
Also, hate to be a spoiler, but there is a short reading assignment out there.
sorry....the LRW assignment. thanks.

Yep, I finish at 10:50 on Fridays, and 1:50 every other day. I'm pretty happy with the schedule. I know rate my professors is not a dependable source, but I checked the site for my teachers and I'm pretty nervous about one of them who got TERRIBLE reviews by every poster.

Re: Wake Forest 2010
At this point, now that all sections have been assigned, you're probably in the clear. When I saw it on WIN late yesterday afternoon, there were no students in Section 4 yet, so that concerned me, but they have since given everyone a section, so that's not an issue. Since you are getting your schedules so close to the start of orientation, I would guess you'll end up sticking where you are.PirateCap'n wrote:Any clue how often sections change? One of those sections will be your writing section, and one will be your research section. You meet with your writing professor 3 times a week, and once with your research professor.guitarborder wrote:Section 1B here. We have LAWR twice on tuesdays, once at 9am and once at 2pm.
