I am attending Wake Forest

Hope all of you will join me in the fall.

I still would love it if everyone attending the openhouse will post pictures and their impression of the school.

What happened to make you decide? That's great news though!!! I will most likely be joining you.

My family got me enough $ for COL and I worked things with Wake on the rest. I am ready to send my seat deposit.

That's awesome! Wake's admissions staff sure has been helpful this cycle.

Can anyone speak to the portability of a WF degree to places like D.C.? Boston? When I tell people I've been accepted into Wake Forest, here in Boston, they are so impressed because of the undergraduate reputation.

I would love to spend three years in NC. I'm going to visit Wake next Friday, and am deciding, currently, between Wake with 18k a year or GMU, where I've yet to hear anything about money. I know in-state residency is difficult in VA so it looks like between cost of attending, and tuition, Wake will be far cheaper.

I just don't want to be tied to NC for five years after graduation.

Congrats Luis!!! What a great birthday present for you. I am about 99% sure I'll be attending too, but will probably wait til I go to the Open House on the 5th. I'll post my thoughts about the school, and any pictures I might take.

I sent an email asking about my status yesterday, and Wake responded today saying that a decision had actually been made on my file, but it slipped through the cracks with regards to the status checker, and that i'll be receiving my decision by email tomorrow! Would have been nice if they could've just told me today, but exciting nonetheless

You inspired me to call... plus, today is my birthday.

I was also told my decision will come via email tomorrow. I hope that is not code for "waitlisted". Good luck to you.

That makes me feel better... when I spoke with Melanie Nutt on campus, I got a very positive vibe from her... I would hope this is an acceptance, but it seems some schools will give you the good news over the phone (if a decision has been made) and let the 'mailings' handle delivery of the bad news.

haha, not Cornell Ms. Nutt and the rest of the Wake crew is the nicest admissions people I have come across, so if she sounded positive I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

Current Status changed to "Application Complete" this morning--doesn't bode too well Anyone else get an update yet?

Folks went App Complete the day before or morning of the last acceptance batch--not sure if ALL App Completes --> Accepted, but a lot did.

Emails went out around 1pm or so last time, so let's see if they are creatures of habit
