YOu've got a great shot at Stetson and I'd guess you might get some money, though your GPA obviously hurts you in the latter regard. Id say you have a chance at a half scholarship. It looks like you want to stay in the vicinity of Florida, and as such, Stetson is a great choice.

Do you really think I've got a shot at half tuition applying this late? I'm putting the application together as I type this, and sending it tonight. I emailed Darren (since you all seem to have had awesome experiences with him) asking about this, and I'm sure I'll hear back sometime tomorrow, but just wondering if you have any insights about it.

I see you have excellent numbers, are you headed to Gulfport in the fall? If so, can I ask what made you choose Stetson? (Other than the full scholly that I'm sure you received

)

Just visited this weekend, completely loved it and seeing as how I'm not a huge fan of Gainesville of UF, I will most likely be confirming enrollment at Stetson this week. Unless someone at Columbia seriously screws up and admits me by accident lol

My decision letter is in the mail as of today. How long does it take to hear about scholarships?

I can't let go of my acceptance to Stetson...I want to GO!!!! I just don't know if I can handle it's TTT status. Currently, I haven't gotten a schoolly. I wont pay sticker price. Hopefully, a scholly will come in soon or I will have to withdraw

How long did it take to get your scholly?

How long did it take to get your scholly?

I think it was about 3 weeks? Definitely not longer than a month. Hopefully it won't be that long for you considering the upcoming deposit deadline.

I got mine with the acceptance.

Do you know anything about the admissions schedule? Were they reviewing all app's that were complete during the month of March?

My application went to committee on the 12th of March and the status checker remains as review.

I was accepted at the beginning of February. I still haven't received any scholarship info. I've been staying in contact with Darren, too.

I decided with no scholly in sight I am withdrawing from Stetson. Good luck to anyone on hold, I hope a TLS'er gets my spot.

I think I am with you, I have already sent in a deposit to another school, but was willing to hold out for a little while to see if they came around. Oh well...

I will likely be doing the same soon. I am going down next weekend to explore the area some more, and I plan to confirm while I'm there. I noticed that you chose Stetson over UF. I'm in a similar position, choosing Stetson over UGA.

Got my acceptance letter today, but didn't hear anything about a scholly. And yet they want a seat deposit by April 20th. Definitely don't want to go unless I get close to a full scholly, and I would like to know soon.

Yeah, I definitely just couldn't justify passing up Stetson's offer, especially after my visit last week. Loved it.

Anyone know when the next round of letters' will be sent? Is 4-6 weeks consistent as far as wait time?

My application went complete on 3/12/2010.

Got the full-tuition offer from Laura about a month ago, so I'm finally going to visit her and Darren this week...

My experiences with them have been exactly how the others here have described them --- calling them accomodating, inviting, collegial, and responsive each would be an understatement.

I'm heading out tomorrow morning and will be in Tampa area until Saturday afternoon getting to know the area after my full day of Stetson touring/meetings on Thursday.
