Yeah there's like a student org fair and you can go out to dinner with whoever sounds like they are going to the best restaurant. They're buying, so live it up.Nom Sawyer wrote:John Harvards sounds fine to me, lol, just don't know my way around Cambridge... Hmm and what do you mean by groups that will buy you dinner? yes, that is correct. There is a student organization fair on Sunday evening. Some of the organizations will be taking students out for dinner after, you can sign up for whichever dinner you like and go from there.sayan wrote:

There's a "Reception with Current Students" on Saturday night. Not sure if that's also a free dinner event.Nom Sawyer wrote:oh so its not Saturday?adameus wrote:yes, that is correct. You get a kickass breakfast on Sunday too. Basically you go into the cafeteria and grab whatever you want and then bring a little card up to the cashier and it's free. My advice is to milk the breakfast for all it's worth

My breakfast would have cost over $15 if not for the free pass.

I did not know we couldn't go back for seconds with the breakfast. I failed. I did meet a 3L who was only going to HLS so he could use the prestige to sell his self-help books, so that made up for it a bit.

For anyone *cough nixxers cough* wondering where the bar sits in relation to the law school, I posted a picture on the event page within the group. It's right across the street from the middle of the University.

I don't think there was any gathering of TLS people. If there was, I wasn't invited...lz06 wrote:Hmm to those of you went to the march one what did you guys do at night?? Did everyone go out together?
On sunday night, the Harvard Law social club (I forget what it was called) had an event going on at one of the campus bars and they provided some drink tickets. I don't think happened on Saturday night.

Who wants to talk about the Public Interest Venture Fund? Class of 2013 would be the first group to benefit from it, so it seems like we could have a lot to do with shaping it going forward. How would you like to see it work?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
