adding 8 points to one's LSAT is not an easy task Though I was scoring in the 167ish range on my practice tests, I think I have stage fright when it comes to lsat game dayfinalaspects wrote:just raise your lsat!!! it won't even matter when you send it especially with a better lsat and your gpa. and more work experience! you should be getting full scholarships all over the place.msch0i wrote:I definitely learned my lesson this cycle...if (or more accurately, when) I reapply next cycle, I'm submitting on OCTOBER 1ST.Inygma wrote: I hope I have a chance with such a stupid late submission

if you were scoring in the 167ish range, i'd probably retake tbh; you should be more comfortable the second time aroundmsch0i wrote:adding 8 points to one's LSAT is not an easy task Though I was scoring in the 167ish range on my practice tests, I think I have stage fright when it comes to lsat game day

Re: UC Irvine 2013
I really should of retook the LSAT, but I doubt I will end up retaking. On test day I got 3 wrong on games, and I usually got 0 9/10 times on games. I should of had a 166, so I am really mad about that, but whats happened happened.finalaspects wrote:

I would like to believe that I could score in the 170s once I am out of school and have more than a few hours a day to study the LSAT, but it is no guarantee and I really don't want to postpone a year.

Well FML, just rechecked LSAT and now it says that the LoR was sent today, soooo probably have no chance at UCI now.Inygma wrote:On LSAC on the reports page, it says First report sent: Jan 13thfinalaspects wrote:

You can check, go to report status on LSAC and it should have the letters of rec that were sent in the column for UCIfinalaspects wrote:mine doesn't have the 2nd report sent... hmm maybe my LoR's were sent with the first report?Inygma wrote:On LSAC on the reports page, it says First report sent: Jan 13thfinalaspects wrote:

I just applied last Saturday. I win. Or lose.Inygma wrote:I just applied Jan. 11thTofu wrote:how early/late did you guys apply?
I hadn't really looked into UCI much, but then one of my coworkers was talking about it and I did some research and realized what attractive option this is. I hope I still have a small chance despite my super late submission...

what are your numbers and how does it match up against Irvine's medians? 167/3.6Faesha wrote:I just applied last Saturday. I win. Or lose.Inygma wrote:I just applied Jan. 11thTofu wrote:how early/late did you guys apply?

doesn't matter how late you apply if your stats are good.

3.47/169. So submission date definitely matters for me. My fault though, I should have looked into it months ago.finalaspects wrote:what are your numbers and how does it match up against Irvine's medians? 167/3.6Faesha wrote:I just applied last Saturday. I'd trade my 12/21 submission for your .6 higher GPA any day.Faesha wrote: 3.47/169. So submission date definitely matters for me. My fault though, I should have looked into it months ago.
I think your numbers are pretty solid for Irvine this year, and I don't think that's just wishful thinking...

I agree, you have a great shot, though your numbers get you into some pretty awesome schools.Neil wrote:I'd trade my 12/21 submission for your .6 higher GPA any day.Faesha wrote: 3.47/169. So submission date definitely matters for me. My fault though, I should have looked into it months ago.
