1. Yes, definitely going.
2. I am planning to go to the Feb event.
3. Yes for advanced degree (M.A.)

for those of you that are on hold, did you just get an email from NU about your application status? it seems that it's a glitch cause it's still the hold letter.

I got this too. They conveniently sent it at 5pm, so when I called admissions to inquire as to if there had been an actual update to my app, nobody was there to answer. Now that I see you got the email too it either means we both got a decision atthe same time, or this is the email we were supposed to get when we were put on hold. My logn still produces the hold letter as well.

I'm assuming the email just came late. I got pretty excited for nothing at all. Has anyone on hold heard anythin legit., or is the consensus still that we will be waiting until seat deposits are due before we get an update?

I was real pissed when I got the email cause I thought they rejected me already even though I'm still working on my LOCI.

Just got accepted into the AJD from the regular 3-year admits. Pretty excited, and baring a NYU admission before March 15th I'll definitely be there!

Not sure, but with the March 15th deposit deadline they have to be letting you know soon.. and I can't see how they could waitlist anyone, so you will at least get a yes or a no (which I find kind of nice.. I hate all these waitlists)

Switched to AJD and mailed in seat deposit today.. also RSVP'd for me and my wife to go to the ASW in April. I'm thinking about flying up this weekend to look into living arrangements, we'd like to find a place that allows both of our dogs and gives the first month or two free. Any AJD's in here just returned from the Feb ASW?

I'm starting to wonder if I'm fooling myself in thinking that being on hold for the AJD program gives me any chance to still be admitted. Especially when I see they are offering regular JD applicants spots in the AJD program.
