It at least seems like they are going through them in order and people are starting to get acceptances. I guess they like to wait, see who applied, and then make decisions.

FYI, I just called the Admissions Office and they confirmed that their site was down. I was told to check back with them in about a half hour if it was still down then. Maybe we'll hear some news today? (fingers crossed!)

Mine changed from 1/15 to 3/24...
Does this mean anything?

means nothing in my case...My status checker changed from 1/7 to 2/19. After that, nothing happened so far.

Once I made a phone call to WUSTL, asking about why my status' date was changed. The way that old lady responded was pretty funny. She's like "It means (paused for at least 30 seconds) it means (paused for at least 15 seconds) it means it has been touched by someone"....

All I can think of are Neil Diamond and Catholic priest jokes...

I called earlier this week... Monday I think. The woman I spoke to said it would be "2-3 weeks." Today, my status changed from under review 2/14 to under review 3/25. Maybe this sheds some light on things. With a time line like that, I will be very likely withdrawing before I get a decision.

Anyone try negotiating with Chicago Kent for more scholarship money?

Also, for people who received merit scholarships...are you taking the money with strings attached or the guaranteed money?

The option I got: full tuition first year ($39K), $25K 2nd and 3rd if you stay in top 20-30% or $20K guaranteed.

Mine is sitting at 3-25 updated from 2-15. Chances are slim that I will attend, but I would like to know nonetheless. If they throw significant $$$ my way I can be swayed.

Hey anyone who is interested in Kent for IP hear about 2 or 3 big profs leaving sometime (I think) around last April? Basically I heard that because of this their rep for IP could really suffer. Did anyone else hear anything like this? Thoughts? Thanks for the input!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
