Yeah. I am sorry uganik. This process has been and will no continue to be tortuous for all of us. Hopefully we all end up somewhere nice at the end of it.

On the other, if Im gonna be rejected anyway in the RD pool Id kinda like to know so I dont keep holding out hope. Are you guys writing LOCI's or what?
I'll write LOCI in the new year. I owe one to Cornell, too.
Me too...Mich, Cornell, UT. This never ends

Potentially. I am beginning to be of the opinion that I'd much rather go to a 20-26 with great scholarships than a T14 at sticker. As I said, I am relieved to be able to make that decision for myself now.

Ugh! None of us got in! Why could they not have just told us this in November with the rest of the people? If they weren't even going to let a couple in?!?!?!?

Do it, dude!

Just wondering... why would you withdraw?

After I had applied everywhere, I went and visited Notre Dame since it was a realistic yet far reach and got in. And to say the least, I feel in love.

Michigan better schoool? Most likely but I am a realist and have no shot of getting in and I have to notify ND by January anyway. I am indifferent about AA too, nothing spectacular to me.
I didn't apply to ND... why do you have to notify them by January? Seems awfully early. It's great that you are already accepted to a school you love.

Well, I'm also in the no decision pile. I'm a little disappointed, but it may be the best thing in the long run. If I do end up getting into Michigan later on, it will be a tough decision between sticker at UM or a lot of money at UIUC, BU or WUSTL. It would have been great to get in ED though. But hey... at least now I'll spend my afternoon being productive and studying for finals instead of celebrating and chugging Pabst Blue Ribbon all afternoon. :-)

Congrats to those who got in and best of luck to the everyone!

All the people in the "Is TLS too harsh?" thread should come over here and check this out. I've seen nothing but positive, supportive comments from people in here (many of whom didn't even apply ED, but were just looking to support their fellow TLSers).

Can TLS be harsh? Yes. But often times the "harsh" responses are just a cold dose of reality that posters need to hear. I've found that when people are considerate, supportive and articulate on TLS, they are usually met with the same in return.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone in here for helping make this brutal wait a little more bearable.

Wow, it's a shame everyone got disappointed today. I'm surprised; just going by numbers it seemed like a lot of you had a good shot. I hope you all get into your other top choices, or if you're sticking it out, end up at UM this summer or next fall. For those headed to ND, enjoy crushing us in football. :D

Do you think my deferrals are to see whether or not I took the LSAT again?
