Sent ED. Didn't receive any type of correspondence from them though. Looking at this thread it seems they don't start sending any sort of confirmation until November.
Communication was very slow last semester, at least in my experience. I applied the first week that apps were accepted and didn't receive any updates until I was rejected next year.
It is hard to believe you got rejected when you applied that early and obviously had stats in their range. Full ride and half scholarships at a lot of upper T1s, mind if I ask you what you think happened with Loyola?

The rejection still bewilders me. I know people with slightly lower stats who were accepted early in the cycle. My only explanation is that my personal statement was a bit risky (family experience with foreclosure, jail, etc.). Some schools loved it and others must not have been so enthralled.

Shooot, I was hoping they would be semi-fast communicators. I guess one of the good things about ED'ing is we HAVE to hear something (either accept, reject, or waitlist...) by Dec. 31....all I know is, I hope it is going to be a good NYE!

Don't lose hope. My experience may have been atypical. You can probably get a good idea of the average timeframe by looking at LSN or at other posts in this thread.

Just got my status check in my inbox about 10 minutes ago. Applied on 10/31. Says it's complete. And now we play the waiting game.
