Has anyone tried negotiating scholarships with tOSU? and if so, how did it go?

I feel so special to be known as Preferred name lol.

On my application I put myname/nickname in the preferred name slot, and all of my correspondence has it just like that, slash and everything.

Scholarship offers do come later but I wouldn't be expecting anything. OSU is not very splitter friendly.

Accepted to Ohio State, definitely attending. I'm an OSU undergrad, and I love Columbus. I'll be attending the April 9th visitation

No, it doesn't. It should say somewhere on the survey that accepting scholarship offer does not mean accepting admission. hth

Who's excited for the announcements of the Moritz scholly semi-finalists starting tomorrow?

Visited tOSU over my spring break last week. It was a very nice school, and the people there were great. However, being a (very) small-town boy, Columbus is a little to large for my liking. Won't be attending in the Fall. Good luck to everyone!

I think the poster meant that they are debating going to OSU or somewhere else and they are using their impending visit to OSU's ASW to make their final decision.
