I was simply asking their method and what their timing has been in the past. Simply looking for information. And I really didn't wait that long...but as with everyone else on these boards, I am here because I am looking to get additional information as to what I can expect about the process.BigFatPanda wrote:You've waited this long, whats another week to ya?nowinGA wrote:BigFatPanda wrote:You'll find out for yourself very very soon, just be patient.nowinGA wrote:Sorry if this has been asked a lot, but these threads get so long and filled up...
How does Madison go about offering scholarships? That is, how long after admission? Or would it have come in the admission email?
Patient? Yeah right. What is their method?

Sorry I am totally hogging this bored today, but one more questions:
what did your status checkers change to before/when you got admitted? Did it say accepted/decision rendered or stay the same?

I think mine just changed this morning, though I didn't check it over the weekend. I got the email at 10:55am. My status checker reads "Decision Made 3/15" and the mailing section shows that a decision email was sent today.msbeautifulbasham wrote:Sorry I am totally hogging this bored today, but one more questions:

Hope that helps! Good luck!

Re: Wisconsin 2010 Application Cycle
Diversity scholarship came out as first wave of offers by late February. After that is done, general scholarship start to go out to general applicants who qualify. In your case, since you're admitted today, expect it to come within the next week or so (late March)---thus, be patient, its coming very very soon.nowinGA wrote:I was simply asking their method and what their timing has been in the past. Same here. Wisconsin is my first choice, and it's been agony waiting for to hear back. My numbers aren't impressive, so I expected an auto-reject, but surprisingly, I'm still in review.tdubsWI wrote:Today is 9 weeks of "under review" for me. Can I get in today too please?

Called UW Admissions this morning to check on the status of my application (In Review 1/29). The woman I spoke to was very nice and told me I would be receiving my decision through e-mail and status checker "soon".
I hope soon is soon.
I LOVE YOU UW!!!! Love me back!!!

I remember that you said that if admitted, you would attend. I wonder if I should say the same. I haven't responded to my WL email yet, because I'm not sure if I'm ready to say that and commit to UW, in case I don't get any money. Ahh.... I don't know what to do!!!

I also got in off the waitlist today. In my LOCI I pretty much committed to them if admitted. I was pretty relieved because now my decision is made and I don't have to worrry about traveling around and visiting other schools.

In off a rejection today! I appealed the rejection with a new LSAT score in February (jump from 161 to 170) and I'm in! It's between Iowa and Wisconsin at this point, hope to hear a few more decisions next week.

Re: Wisconsin 2010 Application Cycle
Congrats to everyone that got in today! I am completely perplexed at how admissions work though...waitlisters getting in before a lot of us have heard back?
I called admissions just to make sure they didn't forget about me (9.5 weeks of in review). I didn't get told "soon", but I was told "hopefully by the end of the month."
I REALLY want to know what my options are before deposits are due...
