Did your status checker update informing you that decision has been rendered? I'm still waiting to hear from USD, and my status checker just says "Complete" as of 4/9/10" =/

Just saying that those with decent numbers (but not exceptional numbers) have a tendency to do worse the later they apply. This may be especially true this year with the increase in applications.

I think that those with median numbers will do better the earlier they apply, but I have a theory that borderline (below median) candidates with a unique application have a better shot of getting in at the end, once the adcoms have figured out where their medians are going to end up and determined how many "passes" they can give on LSAT (not necessarily GPA) without screwing up their numbers.

Possible, but also possible that it's the other way around. admitting most of those folks early in the cycle (as they showed early preparation, enthusiasm) and adjusting for this later.

So I checked my status last Friday and it updated but to say "File complete 4/9/2010" just like a few other people had said. But now that I log in to check again today, the status is completely blank. Did anyone else get this?

Nope. Maybe you just need to refresh your browser.

Mine still says 4/9 complete. I think the people who were waitlisted had their checker go blank on friday. I would check your email.

Decision Rendered today... this was a reach for me so I will not be surprised if it is a rejection, if one is accepted is it usually reflected on the status checker or anything of that nature?

157/3.56 I have been happy with my cycle thus far so even if it is a rejection not end of the world but I will continue to hold out hope : )

Legend has it if your status checker goes black you only have 5 days to live. It's the kiss of death.

Not completely certain, but I believe that USD gives out acceptances via mail. If that helps the recent speculators...

My screen went blank on Friday, I got an email over the weekend letting me know I've been waitlisted. I was hoping for an acceptance with my 3.4/164. But, I guess since I applied so late it really made a difference? Brutal cycle.

USD WAS one of my top choices when i applied in mid-January as i would have loved to live in SD but judging by the numbers of those who were waitlisted it's most likely a rejection for me and at this point i'm alright with that. Unless pepperdine decides to contact me re. ANYTHING sometime soon, University of Oregon it is for me Good luck everyone!

Got an acceptance letter today. My stats are 3.4/164. I got a bad feeling when I called the financial aid department and they said no more scholarships would be sent out until after the deposit deadline. Sounds like there's no more money available until others turn down their offers.

My 1st deposit isn't due until 4/23, and hopefully by then some money will have freed up or I don't know wtf I will do. This school is sooooo effing expensive.
