Does your status checker change to decision rendered when you get off of the waitlist?

Thanks, but as someone who got off of the WL I'm sure your dates differ from others.

I'll take that as a compliment, seeing as I'm a member of this group :-)

As a former resident of PB (undergrad at SDSU), PB is a fun place to live, but if by chance I got taken off the wait list for USD, I wouldn't choose to live there first-year. It's rather inconvenient to get out of - as most residences are far from the freeway, so even though it isn't too far away from the USD campus, it would still take long. It's also loud, and as a first year law student, you might want to be somewhere quieter, making it easier to focus on school. PB nightlife is still easily accessible, even if you don't live there.

Undergrads and parties.

I don't mind attending the occasional get together, but I'd rather live in a quiet area that's an oh-so-horrible 10 minute drive from the fun places than be living right next door to a bunch of inebriated freshmen. I need my sleep.

EDIT: I'm probably sounding more like an old geezer the older I grow. :|

There should be housing that isn't too expensive around the school, down the hill. Also, Mission valley is not too bad and close to the school. Otherwise Clairemont is a community on the other side of the freeway from PB.

Lots of apartment complexes near Fashion Valley and in Mission Valley which will all be close to USD.

Yeah. Fashion Valley seems to be a good choice for me. Studios start at roughly $700 and go into $1,000 range.

Has anyone recently spoke with admissions? There has been a ton of waitlist movement for FT, but no PT. Do you think PT is full??

That, or they are more focused on FT first. They are very big on making you pick PT as an option or not on the full time app. so I would assume they leave it for later. That is a total guess though.

I was thinking the same. I assume the FT class is more important to fill since us PT'ers with SD jobs aren't wandering too far for the time being. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

How long did it take for them to cash your seat deposit?

Cashier's Check / Money Order is easier, IMO. No worrying about when the money will come out of the checking since you pay for the check at the bank.

Who all is waiting on the part-time program? And/or who is already accepted to the part-time program and attending in the fall at USD?
