Omg...my current status just changed to 'Decision rendered and sent'. The seat deposit info also changed to indicate $ amounts and due date. Has this changed for others? It seems as though most folks have heard via phone call whether or not they've been admitted - this means I've probably been dinged Cardozo is the last of my top choices that I'm waiting to hear from.

If you see a seat amount then you've probably been accepted.

I would guess you're in. Mine updated like that as well before I got the call.

Got the call - I'm in! The person that I spoke with also said I was selected as a 'Public Service Scholar'. Does anyone know how much $ is associated with this program? She indicated that it wasn't much, and I felt weird asking.

Congrats to both of you - top 40% is very reasonable, most are top 30% or so... I just dropped an ap to this school. Didn't apply originally, but when I see the scholarships they are giving, it hit me, that if you have a free ride or close to it to get to live in the Village to attend law school, that is pretty darn cool. There are people fighting to go to Fordham, I guess you have better job prospects from there, but with $$ like these and a much more desireable location, it just seems like it would be cool as hell to live in that loc (plus they offer housing for 1Ls) all tuition paid. You guys really considering?

I'm considering it. The location is awesome and staying in the top 40% is, like you said, reasonable (especially because you still get a partial scholarship if your GPA dips a bit), but I'm waiting on money offers from other schools before I make a final decision. I also really need to figure out where I want to practice. Gah, so much to think about!

Edit: I just looked at your profile. Congrats on your scholarship from W&L! For some perspective, I got more money from Cardozo, but I also got stricter terms. I'd assume that you can expect something similar.

I dont get Cardozo. Ive gotten big offers from schools ranked 30 places higher than it and yet ive been sitting as a complete app for 2 full months now.

Public Service scholars is $5000, there are only 20 of us accepted. I got that one, and another one for 35k, so 40k in total. I'm a high GPA, low LSAT URM splitter. Weirdly, my scholarship offers did not have any GPA speculation, they just said, "comply with student conduct" which I guess it means i will lose it if i hit someone in the head with a book.

I really like Cardozo, but I got in a lot of other schools. But havent heard from scholly offers anywhere else, so as of right now, im strongly considering cardozo.

They mean they've been put on hold. If they were on the WL, they would have said that.
