Just got the email about the admitted students day on March 18th. Who's going? I find it kind of awkward that its on a Thursday, since anyone who doesn't work in or near NY would have to take two days off, but whatevs. I'm going to a wedding in Jersey that weekend so it works out relatively well for me.

Cardozo isn't my top choice but they did offer me quite a bit of $$ and a good friend just graduated and absolutely loved it.

got that as well...being as it's a Thursday, and I'd be coming from California, the only way I think I'll go is with a travel subsidy, which I requested via email this afternoon...I'll let everyone know how that goes.

anyone else going to the ASD march 18?? also, does anyone know the real deal in terms of how hard it is to keep the scholly at cardozo, cardozo seems to get pretty slammed on TLS about section stacking, and its really taking out the fun of getting a full ride from them since mine isnt guaranteed.

I plan on going to the ASD, and I heard back concerning my request for a travel subsidy...yes, they are more than willing to help offset costs if you are traveling more than 350 miles. Just email the admissions office and you should hear back within a day or so.

Haha well I'm really glad that call finally came! I'm thinking about calling them today and asking when I'm going to hear something. I'm trying to book a plane and hotels to visit later in March and they get more expensive every week I have to wait!

Congrats Sibley! You'll receive the big shiney envelope in about a week or 10 days that gives more information about your scholarship. I was offered a similar amount and I think its guaranteed in full if I stay in the top 40% and is 80% of the amount if I drop below that and so on. Don't have the paperwork in front of me right now.

In terms of negotiating for more, I get the feeling that Cardozo gave out quite a few large offers to people who will most likely choose different schools. Once they withdraw hopefully that money will be freed up for other candidates who are more serious about Cardozo and ask nicely
