Probably yield protection. If you really want to go, write an LOCI expressing your interest and you will be in.

But you are probably in some T14 schools...

AA or hispanic (or what type of hispanic)? Probably not YP if you're not AA. With many hispanics it's about being over one of the two medians. I guess you're only slightly below the GPA median, but you are below both. That's why Hispanic applicants with high GPA but lower LSATs tend to better than those who fall below both medians yet still have pretty good apps.

With my stats, I'm really happy about this waitlist. So much better than a rejection! Good luck to everyone else!

so is the consensus that everyone that went DR on 3/2 is waitlisted or rejected? (wouldn't surprise me, i have lower numbers) i'm really anxious as my letter hasn't come yet. i live in CA so the mail is lagging, i would have thought it would come by today.

Waitlist.

I count this as a win because I fully expected to get rejected. haha.

I know I'm going to be waitlisted because people who went complete the same time as me with the same numbers have been, but the waiting is killing me! Why have I survived this long when it probably should have been instant WL?

Hmm - I was accepted awhile back. My numbers are lower. Mex-Am here.
