Still nothing in the mail (1/20 batch). I'm starting to think W&L changed their mind and did a "delivery intercept" on my letter.

I had the same situation. Went complete 1/20 and got an acceptance letter mailed the same day. I got the letter today though *damns campus' mailroom*

But the good news is that this is my 3rd acceptance!

Looks like he applied to far fewer schools than you did. With those stats it's a crime not to throw in apps to at least the lower t-14's.

I didn't consider myself a URM (1/8th Jamaican) but I was accepted DR 1/20 and I think it was largely due to my addendum explaining my ethnic background.

Just thought I'd share... I'm getting pretty excited about this acceptance!! I've even stopped checking my American Status Checker.

Washington and Lee sure does have an odd definition of "middle" as in, "we will release scholarship information in the middle of January."

I am pretty sure the time varies and is random. Some people heard after a couple of weeks and some heard after a few months. The status checker is up to date (surprisingly, as none of my other schools update(d) theirs in real time). W&L updated it the exact day my acceptance letter was mailed.

How strong of a presence does W&L have in the D.C. market? That's the only city in the South East that I can really see myself in.

Yeah I went complete on 12/2 and I'm still waiting to hear back. I think I'll probably get rejected or maybe wait listed. My hopes aren't too high for W&L either way.
