Holy crap DM on 1/29. Submitted on 1/4, complete on 1/18. Very fast turnaround. LSN has me on the cusp, but I did not interview, because I was not 100% sure about Vandy. Hope this doesn't hurt me too much.

a fast turnaround usually means you're in (for vandy at least). you shouldn't be worried at all.

I am in almost the exact same situation. I submitted 1/9, complete 1/20, and decision on 1/29. I am also borderline for Vandy. Here's hoping for good news for both of us!

Meh, I submitted earlier and had a similar complete date, but I've got what I think are strong numbers for Vanderbilt. I wish they'd render a decision on my file already, lol.

Submitted 1/09, complete 1/20 and decision mailed 1/29. Won't be able to find out what it says until Tuesday. Yikes.

Admitted students - When are Vanderbilt's ASW/Ds!? I'm thinking about planning a trip to visit campus/reiterate how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE Vanderbilt (I've been complete since 12/7) but don't want to do it on an ASW. Thanks for the help!

Oh, ok perfect! I'm thinking sooner is better than later, I'll probably go in Feb sometime ... before they can send out my rejection

I went Complete on 11/17. Has anyone else had to wait this long for a decision from Vandy?

Shoot - I also submitted 1/9 and went complete 1/20, but no DM for me...I hope that is not a bad sign. I sent in a couple supplemental statements since I wasn't able to interview. Now I am worried...

Decision mailed 1/29...c'mon Vandy, all you have to do is stick it in my campus mailbox.

(Also can I just say how gorgeous Vanderbilt's campus is when it snows? <3)

It really is absolutely fantastic... Nashville has no idea what to do with the sidewalks, though. Anyone know if they actually do send it to our campus boxes or does it go to our permanent address?

I found the wording on that disclaimer a little odd.

Please note that it normally takes 7 business days from a decision date to receive a written notification.

I can't help but think that maybe "Decision Date" and "Decision Mailed Date" are different things. How could it take 7 business days to send a letter? Has anyone who was DM on 1/29 checked his or her mail yet today?

And for those of you who went Vandy undergrad.... I assume you liked it quite a bit, eh?

The sidewalks are awful, dear god. I like how they randomly salt certain weird places (in front of the rec) but nowhere actually useful.

And I THINK it goes to your campus box, if you put that down as your current address. I don't think it'll go to your permanent address until the date you specified (where it said "mail can go to this address until blah blah date" on the app).

Also td6624, I think Vandy students can get a little fanatical sometimes. I know I do, lol.

Same here. If you don't mind, what are your stats? Also, if anyone who had decision mailed 1/29 could share their stats that would be helpful.

I am a decision mailed 1/29. Stats in my profile. For those who are too lazy, they are 3.5-3.6 and 169.

Went complete 10/30 with an interview days later. Not sure the exact numbers, but I think I'm at the 75th percentile for both LSAT and GPA. Really liked Vandy, but haven't heard anything either...

Lots of people have, mostly acceptances and WLs so far I believe.

167/3.75, non-traditional, lots of WE. I got nervous about not interviewing so I sent in unique contributions and why vandy essays this past weekend. I know some part of me should be glad that there is no DM, since that (hopefully) means these additional essays will get reviewed, but I can't get over just wanting a decision!

What are your stats?
