Is anyone here still complete from mid-January with no word yet? Is there a date by which all decisions are going to be made? I couldn't find anything about that on their website.

Complete since Jan. 14. And nothing.

Mine are easily auto-reject stats, so their delay is really starting to delude me into thinking I'll land on a waitlist.

I am seriously considering attending Vanderbilt. I want to end up working in either the Southwest or the Northwest. In looking at the career services booklet that came with my acceptance I noticed that both the IRS and SEC are listed as employers that came to OCI recently from states in these regions. Tax and securities law are areas that I think will interest me. Any sense what types of jobs they were interviewing for? Thank you.

Anyone DM 3/8 who received their mail? It was sent to my temp address but I'm on SB and curious what the batch is looking like. Thanks!

I'm still deciding between Vandy and Emory (equal money at both), but unless Emory will pony up about 30k more (not likely, since they don't negotiate), I'm going to Vandy. Just invested in one of these.

Have you tried calling? I think I'll do that tomorrow.

Nope. I don't plan to, either. They know my app is there, and I doubt they'd tell me anything else. There's a totally legit reason that my app keeps getting shuffled to the back or whatever it is they're doing other than rejecting it.

But: if I'm lucky enough to land on the WL, they won't stop seeing me until they issue my JD (or have me arrested for stalking).

On that note ... what are folks' thoughts on politely re-thanking your interviewer for their time and wink-wink updating him/her on your WL status, if it came to pass. ... I mean this only in instances where your interviewer practically fell in love with you (and said so several times) and happens to be pretty effing connected.

I'm thinking that probably the interviewer has already served his/her purpose. But surely if the update led them to maybe put in another good word on their own, that could only help. Is there any possible downside to this?

i've kept in touch with my interviewer since november, and they are actually notified by the school of your decision a few weeks after you are. i think it would be a great gesture to update them on how your cycle is going though... it's never too early to start networking.

I've been looking online for Vandy Law gear, but I've only found a couple of Hoodies. Anyone have any ideas where I can find t-shirts, or something like that?

Not sure where online, but the campus bookstore has quite a bit of VULS gear.

If you really want to go for broke, get this needlepoint belt and get it monogrammed all for the low, low price of $200 plus shipping.

Interesting note: according to LSN they haven't sent out an acceptance since 2/23, it makes me wonder if they're not polishing up a near-final wave of acceptances for pretty soon.
