Also, FYI--I e-mailed admissions asking when we could expect to be notified if we are awarded Scholars in Law scholarship money, and she said that typically in February, but more towards the middle of February. That gives a full month before the last ASW, which is helpful.

Same response here, "Application Complete 1/26/2010". Hoping it is synonymous with "Decision Rendered." Any already admitted students see this type of movement the day of their acceptance e-mail?

It looked like someone did yesterday--but they also had movement about 12 days prior to that.

I hope so, too.

+1. I'm guessing it is an admit.

I did a bit of research about this when mine updated to "Complete 1/13". For a lot of people it has meant "Acceptance coming later today". One guy had this, then got his acceptance a week later. Mine updated to "Complete 1/13", then didn't do anything until I was accepted yesterday (and it went complete 1/25).

I'll hope for all your sakes that you'll hear later today, though that is no guarantee at this point. Good luck!

EDIT: changed newest complete date to 1/25.

Thanks, Neil.

The research I've done, which is minimal, has shown at least one positive thing: They didn't start rejecting people until April 1 last year....

I just hope it's today--it would really take the sting out of my GW waitlist since I like WashU so much more!

My status updated to 1/26 too. Yay, finally some movement. At least I know (think) they're looking at my application... ?
First complete date was 12/29

This would be the first response (yes or no) from any of the schools I applied to in Dec. I hope Wash U gets me started on a positive note.

another update to 1/26 here, from like 12/30

I think this means good because I feel like I should be way back in line and my numbers are good.

From what I can tell from the 1/26 group, we all seem to be splitters or have splitting tendencies. If WUSTL is traditionally splitter friendly that would seem like a positive omen right?

So just to clarify, you had Application complete before and then the date was changed to today?

I have had application complete since the 13th of January, but that's when I got my status checker email.

Correct.

Now time for my question - they send out decisions via email, right?

Does anybody know anything about the re-completes on 1/25. I was complete 1/4 and updated to complete again on 1/25.

Any meaning behind this?

not sure what it means.
what are your numbers? and do you know anyone else who's complete date has changed to 1/25?
from looking at last year's cycle on lawschoolnumbers.com they didn't start sending non-admit decisions until april 1st.

What time zone is WUSTL in? Do they send emails out past 5?

Basically, do I need to complusively press refresh on my gmail for 2.5 or 3.5 more hours?

Numbers are slightly below both medians, but not out of reach (hopefully). 3.6 and 165. I guess I'll just wait...
