Yeah I'm getting pretty anxious waiting for SIL notice. I was accepted a month ago.

WUSTL loves reverse splitters if you have at least a 163 and a 3.7/3.8+

You know, if anything, all this anticipation over a WashU decision has made me realize that I'd really want to go here. I applied to a buncha different schools, but there's really not many I've been this anxious about.

There was no point to this post.

I'm a more severe reverse splitter: 4.0/158...is that WL love at best?

Now, I really like WUSTL for personal reasons; their recent rankings rise also intrigues me as well as the mystery SIL award.

However, I am starting to really favor Illinois at this matter because yeah they did notify me of 40k/yr guaranteed for all 3 years in my acceptance letter. They haven't been playing games like WUSTL. Furthermore, their flash drive for 4 GB vs 1 GB for WUSTL....I really wish WUSTL admissions was more like Illinois.

you're still waiting from WUSTL? I don't think you need to worry about them being sketchy - they're super behind as is everyone else, and it's really the luck of the draw as to when they get to your application. That scholarship at Illinois is really great though... you should wait and see how much WashU gives you. I know my SIL award is string-free.

I saw that a while back someone threw down 55k as the estimated yearly cost of attendance for WUSTL. This seems pretty low to me. Does anyone care to share a more accurate/current figure?

Well, tuition is 43k/year. COL has been estimated at 19k(ish). I, peronsally, have been planning around 60-63k/year, and I think it's a fairly accurate estimate. God I hope they throw some cash my way.... that's scary.

Probably the wrong thread (biased), but what does everyone think WUSTL will be at this year?

ME!

Also, regarding WUSTL rankings this year I think that they will remain in the same slot (19). I don't see Emory or Minnesota beating them out, nor do I see them overcoming USC. but anything can happen.

I'm interested to see if the negative publicity moves Texas down.

it looks that way. but it also seems we're also grouped with below LSAT median URMs. good or bad for us non-URMs?
