3/23 update here. Other update dates include 11/20 and 1/12. Non-URM, reverse splitter FWIW.

Switched to 3/23 here too.. White boy with LSAT <165 and GPA <3.4

Looking at this batch's stats as a whole, I'm a little uneasy.

To be honest, I would be (mostly) happy with a WL, my LSAT is so low. I hope for all the other 3/23ers' sakes, though, that this is a round of admits. WUSTL is my top choice. Fingers crossed.

Edit: By the way, I am not a URM.

Every time I get a new email my stomach turns to knots until I realize it is not from Washu but from CheapCaribbean.com or some other junk mail...damn it.

so sure we're at WL crowd? also, have we come to a consensus that the 3/23ers look like they'll get a decision today?

No way you have to settle for Tier 2 with that LSAT. I got into Iowa with a shit GPA and a 161, and that was before i retook and got a 170. You are shouldn't be so discouraged, I think a few Tier 1's will accept you, maybe even WashU.

but you're an URM.... unless kswiss is an URM as well? URM's can get into tier 1 with a 160 LSAT easily...

This is my third "Application Complete" status check change (2/something, 3/10 and today). Is this a good sign?

omg can you get your mom to send me a bread recipe? ...seriously. Cuban bread is the most amazing thing ever.

also can someone please explain the difference between a splitter and a reverse one? I never knew.

high gpa/low lsat = reverse splitter

high lsat/low gpa = splitter

splitters are more rare, since there can technically be an unlimited amount of 4.0GPA's out there, while the LSAT is more standardized.

Well don't I feel special. I'm left-handed, too. I'm like... one in a million! =D And ty. I don't know if I'll remember the definition so sorry if I ask you again next week. it's confusing to me, especially since more people on here seem to be splitters than reverse ones, or at least to proclaim themselves as such.

and on that note, why is the one the splitter and the other the reverse? shouldn't it be the other way around so the more standard term fits for the more standard people?

+1 on the 2/4 to 3/23 (3rd status update). a Few weeks ago I would have been ecstatic to get my 3rd update (as that would mean an acceptance in the near future)...not sure what to think now...

Edit: I'm not a URM but I am a minority
