Re: For WUSTL Applicants
75k SIL award. 168/3.7+
Thrilled with this offer, but wondering if I can get a little more. Got 90k total from UIUC, which with in-state tuition is almost full-tuition. Also gotten a few acceptances to the T-14. Anyone think I could use this for leverage?
I'm not looking for a big increase, just maybe another 5k a year or something. Anyone have positive results negotiating with WUSTL? It is probably my top choice at this point, but if I get off waitlist at Michigan or get some $$$ from Vanderbilt, I would consider going to one of these. Some more money from WUSTL would make me a lock there.

I was originally a 2/3, but updated twice (2/9, 2/10), before finally getting the decision.FunkyJD wrote:Not a blessed thing.hiromoto45 wrote:Have any 2/3 heard anything?

Did any one here go to the ASD on Feb 26th. Your thoughts?

Yeah, I just got home from the Feb 26th ASD. Definitely enjoyed it... very impressive on a few fronts. Still waiting to hear from like 11 schools, but the ASD along with the recent scholarship announcements puts WUSTL up there on my list.ENGINEERD wrote:Did any one here go to the ASD on Feb 26th. I'd be happy to answer any more specific questions about the ASD if you have them... on the thread or PM is fine.

Re: For WUSTL Applicants
Regarding SIL amount, no idea if there is a correlation but my annual amount seems to be pretty close to my need access expenses (including amount I added for medical expenses and moving expenses and higher rent #s due to having a spouse) minus my FAFSA expected contribution. So I wonder if need plays a role in the SIL. May be coincidence though that the number matches that formula. Anyone else notice a correlation in their SIL amount and the gap between EC and expenses?

I've been complete since 12/21 and haven't heard a peep. At this point should I be calling the admissions office?

Anyone want to share how long it initially takes to get the status checker and go complete?

My status also changed for 3/1, so this means that a decision is going to be made by tomorrow if they follow their usual pattern?

Re: For WUSTL Applicants
the 3/1 IR people should compare stats with each other. should give you guys a better idea on what to expect if WUSTL bulks decisions which most law schools seem to do.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
