I figured it out. The entire "Complete Dates" being updated and redundant status checker emails happened because a student employee in the admissions office dropped all of the application files (which were in chronological order) causing them to be out of order. Consequently, the reason some of us who applied earlier, but haven't heard back is because we ended up at the end of the stack.

Our emails should arrive tomorrow. With full scholarship offers.

Do schools deny via email? Or do they save that for snail mail? Also, does it say admit or denied on the status checker? I submitted in late October, went complete on 11/6 and again 11/16. I am in no way a shoe in, but the school is one of my reaches and a guy can dream, right?

Serious, reading back through this thread, lots of the ones getting in are splitters with numbers almost identical to mine (with mine actually a bit higher) and submitted same time... what the... on LSN someone with the exact same numbers just got in...

Oh never mind, congrats to you all!!!

EDIT: People who didn't get in today, are your numbers generally higher/lower/similar to those posting today?

Blahhh. Complete on 10/26, 2.99/176, all's quiet in my inbox. An acceptance tomorrow would be incredible.
