You're also above median for LSAT. I'd say you're autoadmit because you solidify both medians, but what do I know...

Blatant anti-H20 trolling. We're talking people with 2.3-2.5 GPAs getting in, according to LSN. Not even URMs, in some cases.

umm where are you guys getting these medians from. LSN has outdated information and their numbers are from over 3 years ago.

From WUSTL's site directly the class of 2012 (last years class) had these #'s

GPA = 3.3/3.7/3.8
LSAT = 161/167/168
%%% = 25/50/75 respectively

http://law.wustl.edu/admissions/documen ... rofile.pdf

Old data. Good catch  Gimme a break, I'm starting to lose it after WUSTL's strung me along for 2 week straight now. Buncha people from the 2/1 and 2/2 updates got in, I updated on 2/3. Every day since I've thought "today's the day!" It wasn't.

I knew I was below the Median, but according the to ABA guide, their median GPA was 3.6 and their 75th was 3.7.

That makes even more sense if the 50th GPA is 3.7, since they seem all-consumed with maintaining their medians, and 166ers are only getting in with a 3.7 plus.

I also wonder why WUSTL never reports the second decimal on their GPA. Maybe their 3.7 is actually a 3.66, and the 75th a 3.76. Who knows.

Oh, man, 30 minutes!

i understand. i've been waiting on some schools since mid-Oct and still nothing. I just applied to WUSTL yesterday but i went complete today. im betting i have like 2-3 more complete date changes to go...

what are your stats if you don't mind me asking? i have a 168 and 2.x gpa (higher than 2.6)

that's a good point they may be rounding up. i think they will try to maintain their LSAT or increase it this year due to the increased amount of applicants. makes sense from the LSN graph with 167+ (maybe they're trying to set 168 as the new median).

is 4:30 a special time? is that when they update when they do make decisions?

175, 3.21
You never know, someone just went submit-admit in 7 days. I was insanely jealous  But happy for him nonetheless, and I don't have any pity for myself since I submitted in early January. October though, wow... that's rough. Admissions is a cruel mistress.

The last two Tuesdays have seen a flood of mass-email acceptances go out around that time. It makes everyone on this thread (including me) extremely twitchy

Edit: I'm thinking they're sticking with a 167... that line on LSN is pretty solid. Could be that they make a late push though!

I'm in a similar situation with dates, applied Friday and complete yesterday, and I'm a 3.66/168. Seems like they are really inconsistent with the amount of time their decisions take, so I really don't know what to expect.

171/3.43 (2/4)
172/2.8 (2/3)
175/3.21 (2/3)
177/2.9 (2/3)
171/ 3.9

Could we be getting yield protected?

damn nice stats. did you write in those 4 lines about why WUSTL? and when did you apply? you should get in... or maybe they think with that LSAT you would get into T14? (which you probably did if you applied)

Well, that has been the time (4:30-4:45) when most decisions have been going out, and Tuesdays had been a big day the last couple weeks. It's just speculation, since WUSTL's status checked seems designed specifically to encourage speculation and/or insanity.

Yeah, WUSTL is about the most splitter friendly school, and for BOTH GPA and LSAT. It's amazing.

170+ can get you into T14 if you blanket the top14... so there is a good chance yes... unless you expressed a sincere interest in WUSTL in your personal statement or something which is why i believe some 170+ were already accepted.

I just got an email in my inbox for my Washington University in St. Louis class reunion.

I thought it was good news, but it was just an invitation to an awkward social event (the infamous 5 yr reunion).

Looking at LSN for this year, WUSTL seems to at least wait 1 day before each wave.... and it looks like there was a wave yesterday... (hopefully i'm wrong)

This makes sense to me.... maybe.
I'm 170, 3.34. All but the first two: 171/3.43 and 172/2.8 fits with the YP idea in my head.

But. Maybe they would have done it to me too, had I not had a LOR from their old dean?

edit: sorry... I started editing before your post popped up.

i was taking a guess too. but that 172/2.8 would have been accepted imo to Northwestern if he/she did ED and that's a T14.

You're my exact number twin. No update for me. Still just complete at 1/5. I am also URM
