Admitted yesterday (!). Since it's via email, I almost feel as if I should reply with a thank-you. Anyone else do that? Is it polite or just weird?

What did Wash U Admissions office say to confirm that 2/3 batch is a WL Reject batch?

I didn't... if you want to, go ahead. It's just that I'm sure they get a bunch like that, and the reply-to inbox is just the generic admissions inbox, so I expect you'll only be thanking the kids who work in the admissions office...

They WL/Rejected you because of two issues:

1) you need glasses but haven't gotten them
2) you hunt and peck in your reading method instead of working to comprehend fully the information at hand

....the meanybutt was just kidding.

Read the small print! It was a cruel joke, but DWaterman's comment is NOT SERIOUS. He added just kidding in tiny font underneath his assertion. It's NOT a WL/REJECT batch...at least as far as he or anyone else currently knows.

How long after they change status will they send an email? Does it go out at EoD or if I haven't gotten an email within an hour means they haven't rendered a decision this time?

Is everyone with the 2/3 a splitter? I feel like we are being pulled out like a commodity whenever they admit a low GPA.

I got mine at 430pm via email, so hope is not lost for the day.

This is starting to make sense. Perhaps the second complete was the dean review, and now the people getting a third complete are going to committee for a second review?

I expected no less. One look at my LSAT, WUSTL YPs me. One look at my GPA, T14s ding me. Cycle ends 0-9, not going to law school. Awesome.
Was about to smash my laptop until I glimpsed the tiny writing at the bottom.

Nevertheless, +1.

Come on WUSTL! I loves me the Rams, Cards, Blues, and Spirt of St. Louises...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
