Just out of curiosity, it's normally 2 completes, right? The 1st one usually the day after submitting? or do ppl mean two changes to Complete?

WUSTL vs. ND
I've gotten into both but I'm still waiting on some higher ranked schools and I truly believe that its going to be difficult to pull me away from the midwest/east, I've spent some time on the west coast and I miss the authenticity of the midwest.
Crossing fingers for Northwestern and umich
what about you?
IIRC, there is a current WUSTL vs. ND thread from the past couple of days, maybe you can look at that one as well.

Rumor has it only ppl who had the note about "SIL" in their initial e-mail were given the travel stipend. Nobody has been notified of $$ yet. It means they're considering you, but no one can tell how likely it is you'll be awarded $$ - better bet is to search last years admits with similar numbers on LSN and see what if anything they were offered.jmaan wrote:just got the email with travel stipend offer..good sign of scholarship money??

just got it too i believe they give this to anyone who had the SIL mention in their acceptance email. I wouldnt mind getting a packet in the mail with some info (not necessarily scholarship) on OCIs and placement statisticsjmaan wrote:just got the email with travel stipend offer..good sign of scholarship money??

Well, this was mine, fwiw.turkishangora wrote:nothing 1/29 update.

submit 12/26
complete 12/29
complete 1/26
complete 2/2 (today! with decision)
seems like the first updated date is just a sign for decision coming. decision rendered is the second updated date?

Thanks. Something to keep hoping then. I submitted 1/18 and first complete was 1/20. So maybe this 1/29 doesn't mean doom...luckyjd wrote:Well, this was mine, fwiw.turkishangora wrote:nothing 1/29 update.

Re: For WUSTL Applicants
Would just like to point out that I did receive the travel stipend in my e-mail but did not get the SIL mention. This has been a common misconception. Perhaps I am the only exception to the rule? Perhaps they are no longer considering me for the scholarship because they've already decided to offer me a full ride? Maybe if I say please???missvik218 wrote:Rumor has it only ppl who had the note about "SIL" in their initial e-mail were given the travel stipend. Nobody has been notified of $$ yet. Also offered the travel stipend. Unfortunately $200 doesn't quite cover an international flight...

"When you visit the school between now and April 1, 2010, we will reimburse your expenses for transportation and/or lodging, up to $200, if you are traveling from more than 100 miles to St. Louis. (When you make your visit you will be given a form to complete to submit with your receipts.)"Sauer Grapes wrote:Is the travel stipend for specific weekends or for anytime you want to visit the law school?
I'm thinking it's any time between now and April 1, but haven't verified.

PS. I checked my status checker and it never changed. I am still just "complete."

Stipend email is in the "bulletin" email. It's kind of easy to disregard if you didn't know to look for it.
Did your tracker not update to "complete" on 2/2 today when you got your decision?

Re: For WUSTL Applicants
My app has a current status date of 12/17 and I STILL have not heard anything from Wash U. I submitted on 11/15. People who have applied later than me are already hearing back from Wash U. Should I be worried?

And I got my decision in mid-January but my status says "Application Complete. Current Status Date: 1/21/2010 "
