Went complete 3/11, under review 3/12, & got my waitlist notification 3/16. I guess that's what I get for applying on 3/1.

I'm pumped for it. I have to catch a flight out Saturday night so I won't be drinking then, but I'll be going out Friday night in Athens.

I'm so jealous. I live in SC, and everyone here talks about how awesome barhopping in Athens is.

I'll turn 21 the second week of class. :( My 21st birthday will most likely suck as a result.

Have you looked it up to see if it falls on a weekend? Either way, you have to celebrate properly. It's early enough in the semester where you won't mess anything up.

It's a Monday :( I'm willing to screw up on a Monday--finding other people who still think they're going to be chained to their books to screw up on a Monday is not.

EDIT: group changed from "University of Georgia Law Class of 2013" to "UGA Law Class of 2013" (to be consistent with every year EXCEPT 2012).

Best,
Matt

Before that gains momentum, close it down and make a new one called "UGA Law 2013" to follow in-step with other "UGA Law 20**" facebook groups.

Matt went ahead and changed the name in a new group. http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gi ... 678&ref=ts for anyone interested.

I'm joining tentatively. I'm 99% sure I'm going to UGA over Emory/riding out Vandy's WL.

Don't quit... or maybe you should quit so that's less competiton for me ;).

Seriously, no one has any idea how many will get off the WL. It depends on what happens with those that have been accepted already.

Thank you, I needed a good kick in the butt and some positive thinking!

As a fellow female yankee lover (I am assuming :)) I hope we both get in so we can watch the games together!

Good luck to everyone who's waiting or attending in the Fall! It was a hard choice, but I will be Bama bound for the Fall. Withdrew today.

Yes! Go Yankees, that will double the amount of Yankee fans in Athens with both of you attending. Right now, it's only me and this other guy i know of.

I really hope they grab us both off of the wait-list then so we can form a "Yankee fan in the South" support group. Our first discussion topic can be: How awesome was '96? I'm sure this will endear us to all the Braves fans...

Please Georgia, take me! I will contribute to a diverse campus :)

Does anyone have any stats or information as to the frequency with which UGA offers scholarships of any significance to persons they accept off of the WL?

Trying to determine if there's any reason why I should stay on the WL, and that's the only one I can think of at the moment.
