question: can i switch from university park to carlisle? I'm not sure if university park is the best place to study and live (cheaply) with all the undergraduate students...

Yeah I think they specifically stated in the application that your current selection isn't binding. If I were you I would try to contact them about it ASAP, just in case they are trying to solidify everyone in place.

Cheer up, kalvano. They're just trying to figure out how they can possibly contain your Texan fury in their quiet Northeastern towns. :) I'm sure you'll get in!

I've been under review since the beginning of November, got an update of current status to 12/16.

My numbers aren't too far out of whack, either.

I hate having instant access to information sometimes.

Waiting on the same thing from L&C, too.

Dude, your numbers are really good for Penn State. These adcomms work in mysterious ways, as we're all realizing. You're an auto-admit, so don't worry about it.

I think, as we learned from BC, no one is an auto-admit anywhere in the T100 this year.

Yes. The status checker says this, right at the top of the page:

Congratulations!

Your application for admission to the JD Program at Penn State Law has been approved!

In the next few days an official offer of admission will be mailed to the address we have on file for you.

Please carefully review the information provided therein and feel free to contact us as questions arise.

Welcome to the Penn State Law Class of 2013!

EDIT: "Current Status" also changed to "Admission Granted", and there is an untitled item in the "Mailings" section with today's date on it.

Still under review at 3.1/159 :(

Looks like nobody with my gpa got admitted already without a low 160 score.

Think decisions are still rolling out today, or are they done?

I am too, rolling with a 3.23 and a 164.

Not sure what is happening.

Why would you even apply to Penn State with numbers like that. Are you sure you didn't misread the thread to say "Penn 2010 application cycle"

I'm from PA and my degree is from an online school (because I am in the military). I wasn't sure how schools would look on that.

anybody want to speculate as to when they think they might send out another round of decisions? I am hoping its sometime soon, but with the holidays that seems especially unlikely.

The status date was the only thing that changed. It's frustrating because I should be an auto-admit via LSP and Penn State is one of my top choices.
