Is this flame? Carlisle bites. I guess UP depends on how far removed from undergrad you are and if you like college football, but I would argue that there's a reason it's called Happy Valley.brickman wrote:anyone know what the life around these two campuses are?

No, it's fine. I was just saying that while neither will look particularly appealing from the sky, go to University Park. It's not NYC, but (compared to Carlisle) you will not be disappointed.

I think the main thing to consider is what each campus offers. The "main" law school campus is Carlisle, and to my knowledge has more variety of courses. They will telecast some of the classes to State College though. Also, if you are interested in any of the particular clinics, they are held on different campuses. The two campuses are pretty far apart (an hour and 1/2 I beileve), so you can't necessarily take part in the activities on the other campus.

Also, there are more externships, internships, and employment oppourtunities in Carlisle (actually in Harrisburg).lawschool5523 wrote:I think the main thing to consider is what each campus offers. Me too. It looks like last year they were sending out decisions from mid November all the way up until xmas eve, so maybe they will send out a couple in the next week? Anyway, good luck!beach_terror wrote:Been under review for awhile now, .. hoping hear before xmas too

Re: Penn State 2010 application cycle
I'm a bit nervous, but I know Penn State in general has been slow with acceptances this year for undergrads as well. It may have something to do with our fabulous governor who can't seem to pass a budget...
In all seriousness, I don't know why but hopefully this will be another excuse we can all think about instead of "they're taking so long because they're laughing at my application."
Good luck to all!

I just went into review as well.... I'm crossing my fingers. Anyone who has been accepted: what was the turnaround time from review to decision?

I'm pretty sure nobody has heard anything from Penn State yet. There are 2 acceptances on LSN but they're actually from last cycle.tallywhacker wrote:Veritas wrote:just went into review, by the sounds of it this could last a while.

Went under review today as well...I couldn't remember if I told PSU to wait for my December scores or not, but I think this indicates that I didn't tell them to wait. 3.65/161
