Are you sure they don't send some scholarship offers after the initial offer of admission? Its hard to say if a particular school is "worth it at sticker" because that depends on what your goals are, where you are looking to work, what you are looking to do, what sort of financial situation you are in and how debt averse you may or may not be.

Hey hugoboss,

Congrats on the acceptance!! When did you get your admittance in the mail, and when did you go complete? Thanks.

GW, at sticker with living is estimated at $70k. Not worth it, imho.

Opinion question:

Do most people/employers/firms consider GW a national school? Would it be difficult to get jobs outside of the east coasT?

I think gwu may not relay scholarship info until after admittance. I wouldn't be banking on money, though, with numbers that are more or less gwu numbers. According to wiki, their median LSAT is 167 and median GPA is 3.67. But who knows. I certainly think gwu or actually even any DC school is worth sticker, but I personally love DC and all it offers- esp for law students.

Ha, the admissions office has been telling me since before Christmas that I would be hearing in 'less than 2 weeks.' ED 169/3.3 haven't heard a thing yet, although I haven't gotten my mail yet today.

And btw, I was under the impression that scholarship offers can come at any time; just because you didn't receive anything with your initial letter doesn't mean that you won't. Its hard to say if GWU is worth sticker price unless we know what your other options are and where you want to be.

Congrats the acceptances, everyone!

Were the people who applied ED and are getting RD decisions getting the mail to their current or permanent addresses?

Accepted a week ago-- I just found out today. I called my doorman at my old residence and he opened the packet while I was on the phone. Yay...LSN in profile.

Mine came to my permanent address, which was actually convenient since I am home on winter break.

Is it a fact that if you do not get a scholarship notification in your acceptance letter that you will have to pay sticker? I know I only had a 163, but I was hoping my 3.84 GPA gave me something, especially with Illinois offering me 30k total.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
