I think I'll be brave enough to pay sticker. There is a very fine line between brave and stupid, but hopefully I'll be on the brave side.Veritas wrote:so, who here is brave enough to sticker GW?

That would be really, really, ballsy. Like a serious amount of sack. Whoever does this I would like to shake their hand.

We'll have to arrange a meet-up to shake hands.chicoalto0649 wrote:Veritas wrote:so, who here is brave enough to sticker GW?

Are you looking to take advantage of IBR and Federal LRAP? I would <3 GW, but it's going to take some convincing for me to take it at full cost.

Just got the complete email about three seconds ago. Never got an email telling me my application was received. Applied 1/3.

I don't know I must not have had a very great app - I see acceptances for people with 167/3.2 - 3.4 on LSN. Also 170/3.1 Plus massive scholarships actually.wired wrote:Oh wow. You just made my heart drop. 169/3.38 who is still waiting to hear back.... Really wanted GW as a financially viable option and you getting WL'd does not make me feel like that is too much of a possibility.Doodsmack wrote:WLed by mail today - 169/3.3. Kind of disappointing.

Yes, definitely. As silly as it sounds, I would much rather pursue Public Interest causes than Biglaw.Veritas wrote:haha.mizzoutigers88 wrote:I think I'll be brave enough to pay sticker. Cool. I'm similar but more into Public SERVICE (DA, AUSA) type jobs. Maybe i'll see you at G-Dubs. If they didn't send me any scholarship info yet does that mean I'll be paying sticker like you guys?mizzoutigers88 wrote:Yes, definitely. Not at all. Once people with big offers start withdrawing, it will free up scholarship $ for candidates like you.monkey85 wrote:Cool. I'm similar but more into Public SERVICE (DA, AUSA) type jobs. In RD PT! Was starting to get a little worried after not hearing anything yet, the little note the dean wrote on my acceptance letter was a nice touch.

I wonder - if you applied FT and got WLed, is it possible/a good idea to request to be considered for PT?

Applied end of Nov, got the complete email on 12/2 I believe. Letter was dated 1/15 and Im in Arlington, so it was kinda weird that i just got the package today but i guess the 3-day weekend probably had something to do with it.mellifluouslyso wrote:congratulations!afische3 wrote:In RD PT! Waitlisted today via mail in DC. Letter was dated 1/20.
160/3.8 @ GW - Pretty excited to still be in the running in whatever capacity. Now I need to start reading about LOCIs and Supplemental Materials.

Congrats dood. I share the sentiment about getting worried, I also live in Arlington and applied PT on 10/1, went complete ages ago. Except no word yet on my end - keeping my fingers crossed the wait will end tomorrow (please god on a positive note. I need a good DC option!)
