One of those was me and I was accepted RD from ED - got the packet on Saturday. So it's looking like a good sign for those that were able to log in during that brief window of time!ashkenazy wrote:8 others who were able to log in haven't updated about deferrals/acceptances/denials.

Anyone think it's worth it to apply this late in the cycle? Just didn't want to blow the $80 app fee in vain.

I actually think GW PT admissions will be quite tough this year. Their US News rankings were dinged HARD last year because of the PT program (GW was required to report those numbers). I don’t know if applying PT was the best idea for me but I do plan to work my job in DC during law school so it was my only choice.
Neil – I too went complete 12/28. Has anyone who went complete around that time started to hear back yet? I believe they are still on late Nov/early Dec.

+1. I'm expecting PT to be harder than FT. Only 50 seats are available if i recall correctly. Competition++.SummerLaw wrote:I actually think GW PT admissions will be quite tough this year. Last year weren't there some instances of people getting admitted to part time then asked if they wanted full time? If I remember correctly it was right after the rankings came out....Has there been any indication that the # of full time seats are increasing for this next class? Budget wise, how can a school completely eliminate 75/100 seats and the tution those students would pay...

Also fully expecting something today. Unfortunately my mail never comes before 4pm CST here. Is it against the law to stalk your postman along his route?jk11287 wrote:Hahaha I'm at work and I can't but I have a friend on mailbox patrol at my apartment so I will let everyone know ASAP, I'm fully expecting to get something today.sjj05 wrote:Oh friends, please check your mailboxes.

We were ED applicants whose decisions were guaranteed to be mailed by Jan 15. So we are expecting at least our deferral letters today.MissLucky wrote:why is everyone expecting something?? i went complete 12/28...should I too be expecting something? i hope so! haCyLaw wrote:Also fully expecting something today. I really hope the mail makes it all the way to FL today. I have never found myself resenting MLK before. I need to know before my head explodes from the tension.

So, as of today, I can log into the admitted students site again. I haven't received my letter, but I'm hoping it's a good sign.
