I'm pretty sure they're reading resumes at least. Plenty of people on LSN with my numbers were outright rejected.

Most people hearing back with rejections and WLs right now have early complete dates. The only other people that appear to be hearing are autoadmits who applied later in the cycle.

Finally received my acceptance packet from my doorman (I knew I was accepted a few weeks ago when he called me after opening it.) The Dean actually wrote me a few sentences commenting on my PS. I thought that was really nice-- no other school wrote such a long note.

this doesnt seem right. You should be in. Im 3.17/169 and got in, and there are a couple people with 3.06ish/169 who got in, not sure what happened here...

Maybe they actually read some of the other stuff you attatch to your application

Probably. Soft-wise I really don't have much to look at.

Oh well, at least it was a fee waiver app.

Hmm.. so my decision may not be that quick. I got the complete email on 12/28 when December LSAT scores came out electronically. Otherwise, app should have been complete early December.

It's strange. For both Berkeley and Columbia, I was accepted as early as a RD applicant possibly could be. But for GW--which is a school that I think I'm a great fit for and which I would seriously consider attending with scholarship money--I haven't been part of the first wave of RD acceptances.

Anyway, it's probably something simple, like the adcomm who got our apps for review was out sick for a couple of weeks or something. I'm sure we'll hear fairly soon.

I wouldn't lose heart at being waitlisted just yet. As the volume of law applications increases, its getting more and more important to send in apps as early as possible. Maybe they are just holding on to WL applications until people formally withdraw (which is bound to happen a lot and soon).

Because there have been 12/28 complete people hearing...of course that doesn't mean they got to all of us yet, but it worries me a little bit.
