Waitlisted today. Went complete 12/15. I didn't think I would get in RD with my numbers and expected a rejection, so this is actually pretty good news for me.

Well, I got an email about a CA event for admitted students. I was like ! So I called and confirmed the acceptance. She said packets were sent out recently, so watch your mail boxes!

So I just had a tour and an interview with Melissa from the admissions office today at ND. I thought I'd pass on some useful information. Scholarships are super tight this year so far (they aren't planning on handing any more out because they are over-target), if you're WLed, don't expect anything. They are over-target currently (aka: too many people have accepted offers already) so the WL will be a rough ride. If you're on the WL, they can see where you are waitlisted at other schools after April 15th, and they aren't fond of people being on more than one past June. This probably goes for most schools, so if you're on like 5,000 waitlists like me you might need to think things through before committing to a wait list. The class I sat in today opened with the Lord's Prayer, and there are crucifixes in every room and a law school chapel. If you aren't religious, or aren't comfortable with being around it, you may want to think about your decision.

OK so that was the main points. My interview went really well and she was really impressed with my accomplishments thus far. I really liked the campus, and being Catholic, I'd love to supplement my education with a religious aspect. Therefore I'm sticking this WL out for sure.

I've been curious about this. I'm not Catholic, but I am religious. Are there any available statistics of the religious makeup of the student body?
