I went complete 10/30. I live in California, so I am hoping for something in the mail tomorrow.
me too, keep me updated if you hear Brose and good luck

Hey Veritas-

For you & me it's looking like a Notre Dame/Georgetown Tuesday with maybe a little Michigan thrown in to make things interesting.

Sorry you were waitlisted. Are you planning on writing a LOCI? You def. bring unique experience. Did you write a Why Notre Dame essay?

Yes pending my 12/1 GT decision because I applied ED there. I did write a why ND essay as well as a diversity statement, but a lot of people with higher numbers than me got waitlisted or rejected so I should feel lucky (although it still hurts).
Anybody who got off the waitlist last year know how hard it was/care to give some insight?

Ugggh today's not a good day for me: 2 waitlists and a probable ding from GT and Cornell. Maybe UMN or Illinois will accept me or preferably W&M and W&L????? Any shots there???

Where are you sitting fulersonr1? (good luck!)

Does anybody know what the waitlist is like for ND is it like UVA, soft reject, or is it possible to crack. ND is one of my top choices so I'm willing to go the extra mile!

sckon,
thanks for responding! I'm looking into taking the LSAT, but unfortunatley I have to reapply for accommodations and that is a very very hard process to go through. Although I'm willing to do so, I'm not sure if I can get in to see my specialists in time, and have them fill out the paperwork in time. Is taking the LSAT the only real way off the waitlist for me? If it is I'm def. going to try to do so in Feb. but I'd like to make sure that this is really the most viable way.

Are you still in undergrad? If so you can work like crazy to get nothing but A's for the next year. I think that would help a lot. You would be able to send Notre Dame letters all the time saying how you were on the principal's honor roll, etc. While retaking the LSAT may make it easier to get off the waitlist, you can get off without it. It will just take more effort on your part.

Thanks brose! I am in undergrad and I have received six straight semesters of 4.0's (that's the highest grade at my UG) since my surgeries that ended early junior year. Right now I'm only taking one class (university requirements) and next semester just two, so the GPA boost will be quite minimal.

Already wrote a why ND, send out a quick LOCI or wait?

Any other suggestions? I appreciate the help guys you are awesome! GL brose your decision is coming soon I feel it!

I personally would write a quick letter, and then if I were still interested in April, I would probably write another. I do not know what the standard etiquette is for LOCIs. Although you might wanna wait for the GULC decision.[/quote]

Not 100% sure yet. I really like a lot about ND, but not sure if it is affordable for me. Im hoping to visit the campus too before I have to decide.

I've been complete for a loooooooong time, and a lot of people with lower numbers who submitted earlier have been getting in. Would it be silly for me to call them and ask when they think I might be reviewed?

I was considering it. Their admissions people have been extremely nice via email. I do not think they would be annoyed or anything.
